Bunnelby rushed over, staring at the assortment of fried treats with indecision. Piplup, however, had no such hesitation, bypassing the rabbit to stuff a crispy dumpling into its beak. Kaito took a bite and gave Ono a thumbs-up. "Delicious! Your cooking is getting better every day."
While enjoying the food, Rotom provided a sales report: the first batch of Friend Flowers had sold out instantly worldwide, with the internet buzzing with heartwarming stories of trainers finally understanding their Pokémon. Kaito nodded; he had already converted a portion of the farmland into high-efficiency greenhouses—the Wanshu Wheat Mutation Base and Gungun Bean Mutation Base—to ensure the next harvest would yield even more miracle crops.
Departure for the Cloud Sea
With the farm running smoothly, Kaito decided it was time to hunt for Mega Stones. "I'm planning a trip to the Cloud Sea Mountain Range," he announced.
After a brief discussion between the girls, Arina and the others insisted that Ono accompany him. Since Liu Xuan and Lian Yue had already traveled with him, they wanted Ono to have some quality time alone with Kaito.
With Reshiram providing air transport, they arrived at Cloud Sea City in minutes. The city was a picturesque Jiangnan-style town, with flagstone streets and ancient boats gliding down a central river. Metapod hung from the eaves, and tourists rode Gogoat through the quiet lanes.
Kaito walked with Pichu and Mime Jr. on his shoulders, while Ono cradled Happiny. Seeing so many locals holding Friend Flowers brought a satisfied smile to Kaito's face.
Happiny's Divine Strength
The group stopped at a restaurant called Jigglypuff's Home. As they enjoyed Cheese Berry Mille-feuille and fried Staravia eggs, Happiny noticed a Jigglypuff looking dejected.
A small magnetic toy had fallen behind a massive, ceiling-high bookshelf. The Jigglypuff was far too weak to move it. Happiny waddled over, patted her chest confidently, and—under the horrified gaze of the owner, Yan Jing—grabbed the heavy bookshelf and lifted it effortlessly with one hand.
She set it aside silently, retrieved the toy, and handed it back to the stunned Jigglypuff.
"This is...!" Yan Jing gasped, rushing to their table. "Your Happiny is incredible! Thank you for helping my partner."
She looked at Kaito with a look of reverence. "A Happiny with such strength... in our region, that is a symbol of great luck."
"Luck?" Kaito asked curiously.
Yan Jing shared an old legend: years ago, a mountain torrent threatened the valley. A Blissey of immense strength had moved giant boulders to redirect the flood, saving countless lives. Since then, the local people believed that a high-strength member of that family line appeared only when a great blessing was coming to the land.
Kaito looked at the smiling Happiny in Ono's arms. It seemed his newest partner wasn't just a "Pink Devil" in training, but a harbinger of good fortune for the journey ahead.
