The Magikarp's Voice
Huang Yue reached her modest home and ran straight to the backyard stream. Her partner, a Magikarp she had met two years ago, surfaced to greet her.
"I bought it!" Huang Yue chirped, showing the flower. She began telling the fish about her idol, the Master Kaito, and how he wanted the world to be better. The Magikarp listened with dull but benevolent eyes.
Huang Yue touched the Magikarp's forehead with the Friend Flower. In an instant, a gentle, telepathic voice resonated in her mind.
"Hello, Huang Yue."
The girl burst into tears. She had finally heard him. "Hello... Magikarp."
As their hearts finally connected without barriers, a blinding light erupted from the stream. The Magikarp's body expanded, shifting from orange scales to sky-blue armor.
Gyarados emerged, looking down at the small girl with a loyal smile.
This single evolution changed everything for Huang Yue's family. A Magikarp was a pet; a Gyarados was a powerful protector capable of securing high-paying security or rescue jobs. Across the world, the Friend Flower was doing exactly what Kaito intended—it was building bridges and changing lives.
