Chapter 32 - Elysia Trading Hall

Her tone was light, but Eric Welsh could hear the truth hidden behind those words. With her sharp personality and today's public confrontation, offending the imperial family was inevitable.

After a moment of silence, Eric Welsh asked carefully, "Then… are you really willing to marry Prince Kael Moonstone?"

Others might not know, but Eric Welsh had seen Prince Kael more than once inside the medical hall. Their relationship was clearly not distant. This marriage might seem forced to outsiders, but he could not tell what was real and what was not.

"I think Prince Kael isn't bad," Zora said calmly. "At least… he's far more reliable than Philip."

Eric Welsh studied her expression closely. "You've really made up your mind?"

Even though he knew this was an imperial decision that no one could oppose, he still asked. Because he feared she might one day regret it.

"Yes," Zora replied quietly, but with unwavering certainty. "I've decided."

Only then did Eric finally relax.
