"Guys we need to make a plan to rescue Sky" Luka said. Starlight took out a small shooting star and threw it up in the air, it was like a proctor showing different plans to save me.
"They obviously wanted Sky for something, but we don't know why. So we need to be prepared for anything" Sunset said.
"I have never seen harpies or vampires act like that before, I feel like they were forced to do this" Arthur said.
"Who's making them do this?" Luna asked, Starlight's eyes grew bigger.
"Layla, Dusk, and Vex. They're the wickedest monsters in our world. They are able to manipulate monsters mines, they are able to turn even the most powerful monster against their friends. They will stop at nothing to get what they want"
"We need to go help her before Layla, Dusk, and Vex make Sky evil forever," Luna said.
"But before we leave we need to get some stuff" the other ghouls blasted their powers in one spot and weapons were being created, bow and arrows, pocket knife, swords, and a whip, booms, shields, and glaives. Luna's eyes grew with excitement. Luna took the bow and arrow, and the glaive, and Cole took the sword. Starlight and Sunset took the two whips, and Arthur took a whip. Luka already had a bow and arrow.
"Sunset, Luna, and Arthur will travel by water, Luka, Cole, and I will run," Starlight said. I woke up on a hard, cold floor, my head pounding with pain. The last memory in my mind was battling against vampires and harpies. Cole had attempted to break me free from a pink bubble by electrocuting it, but it backfired, shocking me into darkness. Awakening, I realized that handcuffs bound my hands and feet, restricting my movements. Struggling to stand, I fell back to the ground. In the midst of the pitch-darkness, I had my fire power illuminate my surroundings, revealing the ominous pink bubble encasing me. Desperation crept in as I cried out, drawing the attention of the one person I least expected to encounter. "Oh Red, did you truly believe you could escape me so easily? I warned you I would return," echoed a voice laden with malice and memories of torment.
"What are you doing here Vex?" I asked him.
"When I ran off that day, I found a portal and walked in and found this world, so I decided to make my name known all across this wretched world." He laughed. "I brought you here so I can make the most evil, powerful, and dangerous monster in this disgusting world." Suddenly the building staring shacking, causing the protective bubble enveloping me to vanish. I sprinted away, fueled by adrenaline. Vex made no attempt to impede my escape. My eyes took in the sight of Starlight, Sunset, and Luna soaring through the sky, unleashing powerful blasts upon the castle in an effort to demolish it. Luka and Arthur concealed among the trees. Luka had his bow aimed at the precise spot where Vex stood, while Arthur poised his sword to strike. I landed in front of Cole, who was beaming with joy upon seeing me. He rushed towards me and offered a warm embrace, but I remained unmoved, my heart still plagued with sorrow.
"Diamond! You're okay! Come on we need to go! Arthur, and Luka are only in the tree to makes sure no monster sneaks attack us, Starlight, Sunset, and Luna were trying to make some noise inside the building so it would force Vex to come out, thankfully he brought you out too." He said he ran a few feet then turned and saw I didn't move. I was trembling, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't move my legs. My eyes started to glow red, I held my head and fell to my knees, there was a monsters who was talking to me, but it wasn't Vex.
"Come on, Red," it whispered seductively. "You know you want this power." I fought against the voice's allure, my body tensing up. Cole's hands gripped my shoulders, his voice desperate. "Remember the pain Cole caused you." Its words resonated with a bitter truth, fueling my anger and desperation. "Aren't you tired of being constantly judged by ghouls for being different? Don't you feel fed up with their discrimination and prejudice towards you? Do you ever find yourself heartbroken when the monsters you love abandon you, making you feel insignificant?" I growl.
"My heart is broken," I whispered. "How can you possibly mend it?" The voice cackled.
"By joining us, of course. You'll say goodbye to, heartbreak, loss, failure, disappointments, and trauma. They will all fade into the past. You will be free of all monsters grasp. You will step into a new chapter of your life, where pain is no longer a problem. In return you need to fight beside us. We will rule this world together Red! We will get revagen on the monsters who have wronged you, who have caused you so much pain! But there is warning: Pull back your carpets if you dare! Just keep in mind that you're likely to find something you may not want to see!" I froze and let this sink in. "So do we have a deal?"
"Deal" I uttered, my voice echoing with newfound resolve. "Red furyfire!"
As the words left my lips, an orb flashed a reddish-black light around me, lifting me off the ground. My once-long, flowing hair straightened and turned red, with a vibrant white streak. My clothes morphed into a black high low skirt, a scarlet cropped top, and crimson high-heeled boots. A choker, adorned with the necklace Cole had gifted me, encircled my neck. I open my eyes and they were glowing red, I cackled loudly. "I love this new look, it's more me."
"Sky?!" Luna and Cole cried in horror.
"Sky's gone, call me Red!" I ran to Cole, I raised my sword, I almost struck him, but Luna was able to push him out of the way, blocking the hit with her arrows. Cole peered over to Vex and his eyes started glowing dark green, Cole ran to him but Vex had a lot of time to practice, and the duel began. Vex did a backflip and as he kick the sword out of Cole's hand, he was about to hit Cole when he held up his shield.
"Do you want to know why Red turned to the dark side so fast? It's because a monster that she loves betrayed her, Cole, you're the one who betrayed her! You're the one who broke her!" Vex said. Cole's face immediately lost color and his heart sank.
"We made a promise with each other that you will be by my side, and I will be on yours, we promise each other we will always fight for each other. That was the worst feeling I have ever felt when you broke up with me." My eyes flashed a darker shade of red.
"We should probably go know I knocked them out there all so weak, even a newborn baby would have had a chance to defeat me" we spun around, creating a whirlwind of puff and smoke emerged beneath us. The smoke billowed out in rich hues mine in a deep shade of dark purple and Vex's in a captivating dark green. In an instant, we vanished into thin air.
"Are you okay you guys?" Sunset asked. Every monsters was okay except Cole.
"Sky's gone" he said
