Chapter 14 - Chapter 14 First Attendance at a Tarot Meeting

After the Fool's brief introduction, Justice Audrey greeted him, "Hello, Mr. Hermit."

Then, as usual, she continued to greet the other members, which was also a way of introducing the original members and their code names to the newcomers.

While greeting the other members, she, as a "mind reader" through the "spectator" channel, was also carefully observing the new member shrouded in gray mist: "Hermit" looked to be in his twenties, with casual yet neat clothing and hairstyle, suggesting he was a self-disciplined gentleman who didn't particularly like following rules.

He was somewhat curious, but not nervous. In fact, his curiosity turned into caution, which showed that he had a good mental fortitude and his personality was likely to be rational and composed.

After a brief observation, Audrey had already sketched out a general "psychological image" of the "hermit" in her mind.

Meanwhile, Odis was also observing the other members. Under the influence of the gray mist, the "Fool" appeared mysterious and powerful. To avoid being used as an example to warn others, Odis did not observe him too closely.

Opposite him was a girl with golden hair, dressed in aristocratic attire. Although he couldn't see her face clearly, he could sense from her spirit that she was an extremely beautiful young woman.

To Audrey's left was Fors Wall, who had slightly wavy brown hair, wore a beige dress, and was very approachable.

At the head of Odis's row was Alger Wilson, a man with blue hair, a rugged appearance, and dressed in Rothschild's attire.

Beside her was a boy a head taller than Odis, dressed in a classic leather outfit; this was "Little Sun" Derrick Berg.

At the very bottom is the "Fool's Trumpet," which looks extremely gloomy and lacks any sense of life.

Everyone was also observing this new member. "The Magician" Fors wondered if the new member was an extraordinary one. "The Hanged Man" Alger speculated about the new member's origins, while "The Sun" Derrick was simply happy about the growth of the Tarot Club.

As for "the world," it is currently just a dummy and has no thoughts of its own.

After the greetings and a period of mutual observation, Audrey spoke first: "Dear Mr. Fool, I have something I would like to report to you privately."

Alger withdrew his attention from the "Hermit": a private report?

Immediately afterwards, he subconsciously began to guess what the report contained.

Klein, behind the gray fog, nodded slightly: "Okay."

After he finished speaking, he blocked the other members' senses and began to communicate alone.

Audrey recounted her encounters with the Psychological Alchemy Society and submitted two pages of her diary that she had seen at the Russell Memorial Exhibition.

In Odis's memory, the Tarot meetings had been held too many times, and he didn't remember much about the content of Audrey's individual report this time. So, like the other members, he waited quietly.

About four or five minutes later, the "private report" process ended, and Fors looked eagerly at the bottom of the screen at the "World": "Mr. World, I will collect magical items or powerful extraordinary weapons from the solar realm for you as soon as possible."

Odis paused for a moment before recalling: Klein was about to fight with the "indulgence" members of the "Rose School".

He leaned forward slightly, about to speak, but then remembered that this was his first time attending a tarot meeting, and he should focus on observation, which was in line with the thinking of a normal person.

Audrey asked, "What kind of deal did you two make in private?"

Fors didn't hide anything: "Mr. World helped me find the potion recipe for 'Master of Tricks'."

She is currently an "apprentice" and has been searching for the Sequence 8 recipe for several years. She never expected to get the recipe she had been dreaming of so soon after joining the Tarot Club.

Audrey thought to herself: Mr. World has a great ability to find formulas!

Then she asked very kindly, "Mr. Hermit, did you have any questions about the 'magical item' or 'extraordinary weapon' just now?"

Odis's little actions just now, of course, did not escape the eyes of a "mind reader," but she misunderstood Odis's meaning and thought that he had questions about the concept of magical items or extraordinary weapons.

For most extraordinary individuals, the concepts of these two things are indeed easily confused.

"First of all, thank you for your concern," Odis said politely. Having come this far, he had no choice but to say what he had been meaning to say earlier; otherwise, attending his first conference like this might very well result in him being labeled as "dishonest."

"I happen to have an extraordinary weapon in the 'Sun' domain. Well, to be precise, it can no longer be classified as an extraordinary weapon because I used extraordinary materials of Sequence 7 in it."

"I don't know if it meets 'the world's' requirements? But then I think it's a deal between Mr. World and Ms. Magician, so it would be inappropriate to speak rashly."

Odis was not worried that the weapons he created using magic arrays would expose his research results. Extraordinary individuals outside of the "peepers," "readers," and "generalists" would find it difficult to discover the unique features of his weapons.

Klein, behind the gray fog, slightly curled the corners of his mouth. He used the image of "the world" to imply that "the Magician" was discussing the purchase of magical items at the Tarot meeting in order to attract the attention of "the Hermit".

After all, now that tarot has such a channel, there's no harm in not using it.

Audrey was slightly taken aback. She hadn't expected that her "mind reading" would go wrong this time. Then she was surprised that the new member could provide such an extraordinary weapon.

Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!

Alger speculated: Is the new member a craftsman?

"Little Sun" Derrick: Every member of the Tarot Club seems so amazing!

Fors was also taken aback, thinking that it was rare to encounter the trade of extraordinary weapons at extraordinary gatherings: Mr. Fool must have carefully considered when choosing new members.

But then she thought: Miss Justice is an aristocrat, Mr. Hanged Man has access to the sea, "The Sun" comes from "The Forsaken Land", "The World" has all sorts of rich resources, and the new member seems to have access to extraordinary weapons... Uh, what role do I play?

While the "Magician" was caught in self-doubt, Klein manipulated the "World" and said in a deep voice, "You can tell me about the extraordinary weapons you possess. If it's suitable, I can buy them directly from you."

Odis explained, "When not in use, this weapon is only the length of an adult's palm, cylindrical in shape, and can be held in one hand."

"After being infused with spirituality, the upper and lower ends will extend, forming an illusory, forearm-length, pure white staff."

"As long as it is infused with spirituality, a warm and pure power will fill the area within five meters. Fallen, evil, and undead monsters will be continuously damaged, while your teammates will be constantly encouraged."

"It can unleash 'Purifying Slash' on the target, with an attack range of approximately 15 meters; it can also create 'Holy Water'."

This is one of the more powerful weapons among Odis's experiments. It was made using a portion of the "Red Crown of the Dawn Rooster," which is one of the main materials for advancing to the "Sun" pathway sequence 7 "Sun Priest."

Klein frowned slightly. This sounded somewhat different from a normal extraordinary weapon. He manipulated "The World" and asked, "How much are you planning to sell it for? How long can it be used?"

Extraordinary weapons generally have a "use period" issue.

"1200 pounds!" Odis quoted. "It needs maintenance once a year, and it will last at least five or six years, or even longer. Each maintenance costs 150 pounds!"

Klein sat up straight instantly from behind the gray fog: This is definitely not a legitimate extraordinary weapon!
