Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 Nun

"I can't do anything with you!" Milim huffed, acting tsundere, then hot flames erupted from her palm. The intense heat quickly turned the bear meat golden brown.

"Sister, why do you have fire on your hand?"

Linlin's eyes widened as she stared at the dazzling flames on Milim's hand, instinctively wanting to reach out and touch them.

Milim slapped Linlin's hand away: "Don't touch it, you'll burn your hand."

"Oh!" Linlin withdrew her hand, looking a little wronged.

Seeing Linlin's aggrieved expression, Milim reached out and tore off a roasted bear leg, then handed it to Charlotte Linlin!

"Eat quickly, don't starve yourself."

Upon seeing the bear leg, the look of grievance vanished from Linlin's face: "This is great, Sister."

She then grabbed the bear leg and gnawed on it bite after bite, her face covered in grease.

Noticing how happily Linlin was eating, Milim couldn't help but wonder if she had a talent for cooking, having made the bear meat taste so good on her first try.

Slightly doubtful, Milim extended a dragon claw, tore off a piece of meat from the giant bear, put it to her mouth, and took a big bite.

Ptooey!

Spitting out the meat, Milim confirmed that she indeed had no talent for cooking; the fact that Linlin was eating it so deliciously was entirely Linlin's own issue.

Soon, the entire bear had been devoured by Charlotte Linlin alone. Seeing this, Milim inwardly thanked her King of Wrath ultimate skill more than once.

After eating and drinking her fill, it was naturally time to sleep. Linlin casually pulled over a few large leaves, laid them on the ground, and lay down directly.

Then, she patted her round belly!

"Sister, come up and sleep too," Linlin said with an innocent smile.

"Alright!" Milim, a little distracted, jumped onto Linlin's belly and lay down. They had been sleeping together for years, and Milim liked to sleep in soft places, which Linlin always remembered.

Before long, Linlin's breathing could be heard from beneath her. Milim looked at the few stars in the dark night, Linlin's innocent smile replaying in her mind.

As well as the ugly appearance she would have in the original future, Milim resolved that she would absolutely not let her younger sister turn into that monstrous state.

Moreover, according to analyses by some experts, Charlotte Linlin's tyrannical personality did not belong to her, but was due to accidentally eating the nun, causing the nun's soul to continuously occupy Linlin's body.

And in the original story, after Linlin fell into the sea and lost her memory, her personality was exactly the same as when she was a child, with no changes.

All these indications suggested that the nun did not completely die after being eaten by Linlin, but survived in a new form.

Although these were all speculations, they were meaningless to Milim; as long as there was a possibility of this happening, Milim would not let it occur.

Milim groggily opened her eyes, finding the sky covered by dark clouds, looking as if a heavy rain was imminent.

Milim's heart jumped. She quickly leaped off Linlin's belly and rushed into the forest. With a few loud bangs, Milim emerged carrying several giant trees.

The commotion naturally woke Linlin.

Linlin, still groggy from sleep, watched her sister run into the forest, then emerge carrying several trees, and asked, confused.

"Sister, is this a new game? But it's so noisy!"

"Idiot, it's going to rain soon. I need to build a house; I don't want to get soaked."

"You come and help too." Milim grabbed a giant tree over 10 meters tall with one hand and tapped Linlin's forehead with it.

This tapping thoroughly woke Linlin up. She rubbed her slightly itchy forehead and followed Milim into the forest, breaking off several giant trees, carrying them out, and placing them on the ground.

Feeling that there was enough wood, Milim's finger was covered by dragon scales, transforming into a dragon claw. The sharp dragon claw easily sliced through the giant trees, dividing them into several sections.

Next, Milim arranged the logs in a triangular formation, then went to find a pile of leaves to cover all the gaps on top. Her first survival shelter in the wilderness was complete.

Milim nodded in satisfaction at the structure before her. Although the building had no technical sophistication and was built entirely by brute force.

But Milim was still happy, perhaps because her body had shrunk, and even her thoughts had become younger.

Before the rain began to fall, Milim made another trip to the forest and caught some animals.

Just as she placed the animals on the grill, the rain outside poured down like an ocean emptying, the entire sea obscured by the curtain of rain, leaving only a vast expanse of white.

"Wow!" Linlin extended her chubby little hand, catching the rainwater outside, then cupped the water and came to Milim's side!

"Sister, you have mud on your face, wash it off with water."

Milim touched her face and found there really was some dirt. Without hesitation, she washed her face with the water in Linlin's hands.

After washing her face, Milim felt refreshed and clean. She then compared her height to Linlin's.

At just a young age, Linlin was already three or four meters tall, while Milim was barely 1 meter. In the Pirate World, Milim's height would be considered a handicap.

Life slowly continued like this. Besides Milim demanding that Linlin train every day, nothing else happened.

A year passed quickly.

Linlin had grown quite a bit taller, while Milim's height remained the same.

Today should have been like any other day, but the arrival of a small boat broke the peaceful life here.

Milim and Linlin were eating roasted meat when suddenly a nun, dressed in a nun's habit, tall and slender but with a somewhat ugly face, arrived at the room they had built.

The nun spoke in a gentle tone: "You must be homeless children, come with me, I will take you to a new home."

Milim didn't have any particular reaction, but the moment Linlin saw the nun, it was as if she had seen her former Mama again.

So she was particularly affectionate towards the nun, and coupled with Milim not stopping them, the nun successfully led the two away from this uninhabited island.

The nun was currently delighted with her luck; that pink giant child clearly had great talent, and she would surely make a large sum if she sold her later.

As for the shorter one, she looked quite good, and if she was properly nurtured, she could also fetch a decent value.

The nun was thinking this, but what she didn't know was that a pair of eyes behind her were staring intently at her!

Milim's normally round pupils had, at some point, transformed into vertical slits like a dragon's. Her enhanced eyes possessed powerful observational abilities, which easily read the nun's inner thoughts.
