"What gossip did you bring, it looks interesting," I said as I sat down in my office chair.
"And here it is," she said, tickling me.
"Wait, hold on, I'll put this down first," I said, pointing to the breakfast I bought.
"You're such a buzzkill," she said, rolling her eyes at me.
"Okay, I'm done, go ahead."
"You know what, girl, Shawn confessed to me; he said he likes me, plus he even asked me out on a date!!!! Ackkkk!!! OMG GIRL!!!!"
"Stand by that excitement, okay? Because if you get hurt again, don't come to me asking for advice!" I said to her seriously.
"Okay, okay, I promise this is the last time," as she showed me her doe eyes.
"You're really stubborn, aren't you?!" and I pinched her face again.
"That's twice now, Ouch!" As she fake cries.
"You're such a drama queen. Let me ask you, what do you like about that Shawn, Tasha?" I asked her seriously.
"It's simple, handsome, kind, tall, has principles, values things, and is family-oriented," the joy and excitement were evident on her face.
I can see the joy Tasha feels in her eyes; I miss falling in love again. Even though Tasha is like that, I love her so much; she's the only person who supports me and is with me in sadness and happiness. She's the person who accepted my whole being, listens to my problems without any judgments, who cheers me up whenever I'm so down, a person who brings out the best of me, and a person who's always there for me whenever I need someone.
That's why I became a full-fledged lawyer now because she's the one who pushes me not to give up because I almost gave up before, so thanks to her because if it weren't for her, I wouldn't have reached this dream. Thank you for always believing in my potential, Tasha!!!
And today I will return all the favor she did to me; I will support her in whatever decision she makes in life. I'll be her number one supporter, just like what she did; all I want is the best for her. I want her to be the happiest girl in the world, and if she chooses to have a family, then I'll support her decision because I won't be with her forever. Wherever she's happy, I'm happy too.
