Chapter 39 - Mayra Talking To Meera

Hearing Meera's answer, Mayra said, "Now will you try to explain to me what is true or not?"

Hearing Myra's words, Meera replied, "I am not trying to explain anything to you. I am just telling you the truth."

Hearing Meera's words, Mayra said to her, "Well, if that is the case, then what are you doing here instead of going to your room?"

After listening to Mayra, Meera became silent. Actually, she also had no answer as to what she was doing here. She should have gone to her room.

Seeing Meera silent, Mayra said to her, "What happened? Why are you silent now? Why don't you have any answer!"

On hearing Mayra's question, Meera took a deep breath and finally said, "Whatever you are thinking is true from my side. The Prime Minister loves only you. He had saved me, but I misunderstood that saving. However, I have now come to understand that whatever I was thinking was all wrong. So you can be completely assured. I am never between you and the Prime Minister."

After listening to Meera, Mayra looked at her face carefully and said, "But I want you to come between us!"

Hearing this, Meera looked at Mayra in surprise. She said, "What are you saying!"

She felt she must have heard something wrong.

However, upon hearing Meera's question, Myra again said, "You have not heard anything wrong. I want you to come between Raghav and take him away from me."

Meera is shocked to hear what Mayra says. She said, "Why are you saying this? Why do you want this? When you know very well that the Prime Minister cannot live without you!"

On Meera's question, Mayra said, "That is why I want you to make a place in the heart of the Prime Minister and teach him how to live with you."

While saying this, Mayra's eyes filled with tears. Every fiancée wants no one to take away her would-be husband. But she herself was asking another girl to take away her would-be husband. The one whom she herself loves so much. She replied to Meera, "Whatever you have heard is absolutely true. I am telling you to take Raghav away from me and make him yours!"

Hearing Mayra's words, Meera asked, "But why are you saying this? Don't you love him?"

Myra replied to Meera's question, "I love him! I love him very much...that's why I want him to stay alive after I am gone, and he should not have any problem living without me!"

Meera was not able to understand what Mayra was saying. She asked, "But why do you want this? I am not able to understand anything! Please tell me clearly?"

On Meera's question, Mayra said, "Actually youy have been being given slow poison for a long time. There is no cure for it, and after some time, my death is certain. That's why I am telling you that before I die, you must make a place in Raghav's heart and trap him in your love. So that he forgets me and it becomes easier for him to live after my death."

Hearing this, Meera's heart skipped a beat. She had never expected that the person whom the Prime Minister loved so much was being given slow poison. He said, "You are being poisoned,d but who is poisoning you and why did you not tell the Prime Minister anything about this. He will definitely find a cure for this poison."

On Meera's question, Mayra said, "There is no cure for this poison of mine. That is why I am telling you this. The one who has poisoned me is none other than my own father!"

Myra's father was a minister, and Myra was the child of his first wife. But after Myra's mother died, he got married again and had a daughter and a son from her.

Meera could understand that Mayra's stepmother and sister were poisoning her. But she could not believe that her own father was poisoning her. She said, "What are you saying? How can your own father poison you?"

On Meera's question, Mayra said, "It is difficult to believe this, but this is the truth. My father does not like Ragha,v and he wants to make his son the Prime Minister in his place."

Mayra's statement was no less than a shock for Meera. Although she knew very well that it was Mayra's father who had arranged their engagement with great pomp and show.

Seeing Meera's reaction, a bitter smile came on Mayra's face. She said, "I know you don't believe this, but this is the truth. He got me, and Ragha,v engaged with much fanfare so that I could fulfil his purpose. For this, he started sending me close to Raghav since childhood so that I could make a place in Raghav's heart. If Raghav and I get married, then I will kill Raghav. However, as I grew up, I slowly started loving Ragha,v and I decided that I would not kill Ragha after marriage. But my father already knew what was going on in my heart, and he started giving me slow poison. When I came to know about that poison, it was too late, and that poison has now spread throughout my body. They did this so that after my death, they would get my step-sister married to Raghav, and he would help them in fulfilling their purpose. That's why I want you to trap Raghav in your love so that after my death, he can live comfortably, and there is no threat to his life!"

After listening to Mayra's entire story, Meera took two steps back. She still could not believe all this. She said, "But why don't you tell all this to the Prime Minister. I am sure he will definitely inform your father."

Hearing Meera's question, Mayra said, As far as I know, Raghav will be ready to leave everything behind, but he will not leave me. Even if he has to die with me for that. That is why I am requesting you to save my Raghav's life!"

After listening to Mayra, Meera said, " But how are you so sure that after trapping my Prime Minister in your love trap, there will be no threat to his life. Your father will find some other way to kill him.

Hearing Meera's question, Mayra said, "I know that even after you marry Raghav, they can make another conspiracy to kill Raghav. But that conspiracy will happen outside the palace because my family will not get permission to enter Raghav's palace. But if I or anyone from my family is married and is in Raghav's palace, then they will send their men to take revenge on Raghav. In this way, his life will remain in danger even after my death. I am averting the danger coming to Raghav for once so that you get some time to tell Raghav the whole truth."

Hearing this, Meera said, "But you can tell this to the Prime Minister yourself, right? Why are you using me for that?"
