Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 – Farewell to Demon Slayer World & The Migration to the New Age Morning · Butterfly Mansion

Takumi woke up early, stretching lazily. His hand reached to the side of the bed—empty.

But the faint crimson mark on the sheets made him grin like an idiot.

"Alright! A brand new day! System, sign-in!"

Ding! Congratulations to the Host—Dimensional Gate Sub-Gate (Gold) acquired!

Takumi's eyes widened.

"A gold-tier item! A Sub-Gate… that can be permanently anchored?! That's basically a fixed teleportation tunnel between worlds! Hahahahaha!"

With this Sub-Gate, Dimensional City could one day expand its influence into other worlds without Takumi personally opening the path.

This was the birth of inter-world infrastructure.

But he shook his head.

"Not yet. Demon Slayer World has low martial potential. Better to save this for a future world with real development value."

For now, only the main Dimensional Gate mattered.

As Takumi was still basking in joy, the door opened.

Kanae stepped in, gentle and radiant.

"Takumi? What are you so excited about?"

He nearly choked.

"It's nothing! You woke early… why not rest more?"

Kanae hid a mischievous smile.

"Oh my… you weren't this shy last night, Takumi~"

His face turned red instantly.

He coughed, desperate to change the topic.

"K-Kanae… about the Demon Slayer Corps—"

Her expression shifted to graceful seriousness.

"Master Ubuyashiki sent word. The Corps and their families are preparing for migration. All properties are being sold and converted into essential supplies. Do you have new instructions?"

Takumi scratched his head.

"And… could you please call me Takumi? Rimuru calls me that."

Kanae giggled softly.

"Very well. Then Takumi… what will you do today?"

"I'll head out after breakfast. There are some people I want to bring with us."

"Then I'll accompany—"

"No." He gently held her shoulders. "You need rest. I'll be quick."

Kanae's cheeks warmed as he leaned down and kissed her forehead.

"Alright… but be careful, Takumi."

He nodded and vanished.

Afternoon · Unnamed Mountain

Sword-flight was truly convenient.

Takumi hovered above the forest, scanning with divine sense.

"This is the mountain from the original timeline. Kamado Tanjirou should be nearby."

And indeed—

Smoke, a small home, and a family bustling around.

He descended.

The Kamado family froze.

Tanjiro clutched his axe.

Nezuko blinked, hugging a basket.

Mrs. Kamado stepped forward cautiously.

"Young man… who are you?"

Takumi smiled.(Though he nearly said the forbidden "Madam, you don't want to—")

"I'm Takumi. A traveler. There's something important I need to discuss."

"What do you wish to discuss?"

"I'm taking your entire family away."

"WHAT?!"

Mrs. Kamado panicked.

"Tanjiro! Take your siblings and RUN!"

"Mother! I won't run!" Tanjiro shouted, raising his axe. "I'll protect our family! Don't bully my mother, you bastard!"

Takumi flailed.

"No, no! You misunderstand! Not kidnapping! I mean… migration! To another world!"

"What?"

"Another… what?"

Takumi sighed.

"Okay. Watch this."

He casually picked up Nezuko… and flew into the sky.

The Kamado family stared in disbelief.

"A… a god…!!"

"Put down Nezuko! Let ME carry her!!" the System wailed.

After a long explanation (and demonstration of more flying), the Kamado family agreed to migrate.

After all, poverty had left them with little to lose.

Takumi returned them to Butterfly Mansion and dropped them off with Kanae.

Shinobu peeked from the side, cheeks puffed.

"Hmph! That big bad guy! Bullied my sister yesterday and now he leaves her alone!"

Kanae smiled.

"Shinobu… if you like him, you should say so."

Shinobu turned red.

"W-who would like THAT idiot?! I-I'm ignoring you!"

She ran off.

Kanae giggled.

"Ara~ Shinobu, you're so obvious. Only Takumi is too dense to notice."

Takumi's Great Round-Up

By the end of the day, Takumi had personally recruited:

Kamado Family

Tamayo and Yushiro

Swordsmiths

Healers

Dozens of talented children

Artisans and farmers

Every member of the Demon Slayer Corps and their families

A perfect foundation for Dimensional City's early population.

The Next Morning · Migration Day

Thousands gathered.

Hashira.

Families.

Doctors.

Blacksmiths.

Children holding hands.

Takumi stood at the front, grinning wickedly.

Rimuru… your jaw is going to drop.

"Everyone!" he shouted. "Today, we leave this world and step into a new era! A new home! A new future!"

The crowd roared.

"OPEN—DIMENSIONAL GATE!"

A massive portal of glowing white light formed, blinding in its brilliance.

Gasps spread.

"This is…!"

"The door to another world!"

"Takumi-sama… is truly a divine being!"

Takumi pointed forward dramatically.

"Let's go!"

"Ohhhhh!!!!"

One by one, families and warriors entered.

When the last person stepped through, Takumi took a long look at the Demon Slayer World.

"Goodbye… and thank you."

He turned.

And stepped into the Dimensional Gate.

The birth of Dimensional City had officially begun.
