Amelia's POV
My home has been in total chaos as Mom and Dad kept fighting over everything that had happened, and this afternoon happened to be another session of war.
"Judy, are you out of your mind? You let Amelia hire a ghost painter? Did you even think about the consequences in Dad thundered, his eyes bulging with rage.
"I didn't think it would get this serious! I was just trying to help Amelia!" Mom retorted.
"Help her? Do you really believe that? You know she has no talent for painting, yet you still want to promote her for your own vanity." Dad snapped back sharply.
"What's done is done. Are you going to kill us both out of anger?" Mom questioned, supporting me defiantly.
"Are you trying to drive me to an early grave?" Dad retorted, kicking the sofa in anger.
Mom fell silent as she hung her head low.
