Ranks are measured by magical power (attacks, curses, shields, healing, or cures) using circles. There are nine levels, culminating in the rank of Absolute Magic.

Special Ranks: These are ranks obtained by users of the Writer ability. They are the highest ranks and the second most powerful ability in the story. Users of these ranks are extremely rare throughout the story.

Important Note: Do not take the power levels too seriously, as they vary greatly and are not significant to the story. Therefore, they will not be mentioned much in the novel for several reasons, which you will discover in later chapters (except for one special rank that remains constant throughout the novel).
