On May 31, 675, at 8:30 a.m., local residents were gathered in the streets of Gusembourg.
They were preparing the city for the celebration that would take place three days later, with joy and happiness.
The day on which Daniel de Moliard defeated the Demon King was very near, and the fact that important figures from inside and outside the human world would be visiting the city of Gusmbourg to celebrate the thousand year anniversary of the defeat of the Demon World, made them work diligently and actively to provide the best conditions of luxury for the next seven days.
Elsewhere, inside Director Solliver's office, Yuta was sitting in a chair across from his desk, while looking at his electronic tablet with calm eyes.
Yuta looked at his tablet for several seconds, before turning his gaze to Solliver.
Yuta's gaze was analyzing every part of Solifer, while out of the corner of his other eye he looked at the information on the electronic tablet.
He spoke in a calm tone while putting the board aside:
"You requested five entertainment centers equipped with all electronic games, from regular games to high-quality virtual reality games."
"In addition, six ice cream machines, 34 high-quality microphones, and 456 freezers to store the products for the duration of the festival. Isn't that right, Mr. Solliver?"
Solliver took a deep breath as he looked at him, even though he didn't want to deal with him, because Yuta's technology companies wouldn't make things easier for them, even after he announced that Yuta would support them.
Yuta's gaze was cold, his reputation was more bad than good, and dealing with him like this would not benefit him for long.
However, the Versalkin Academy decided to go through with the deal, as the cost, whatever it was, was going to be distributed among the major imperial families, duchies, clans, and sects located in the Central Continent.
Moreover, the festival would have demonstrated the ability of the Versalkin Academy to host such events.
Therefore, Solliver had no choice but to put aside their animosity. Moreover, thanks to the Heaven's Oath, he was confident that Yuta would not do anything against him, and the same applies to him in turn.
He spoke calmly while looking at him, yet there was a feeling that what would happen would not end well:
"Yes, as you said. We need everything you mentioned. As for where to put the entertainment halls, there are a lot of bankrupt shops in Gusmburg, and we will use them to turn them into entertainment centers."
Yuta looked at him carefully for several minutes, knowing what he meant by bankrupt stores, then spoke indifferently while calculating the price of everything:
"You want to confiscate five stores that are huge in terms of size, so that you can use them as gaming centers. However, I do not care about that. What matters to me are two things: providing suitable places to start work, and preparing the money before the work begins, otherwise the deal will be canceled automatically. I am clear, Solifer?"
Solliver's facial expression remained calm, but his features grew more severe and cold, while an aura of prestige and killing intent emanated from his body. However, Yuta's facial features did not change anything.
He spoke sarcastically while looking at him out of the corner of his red eyes:
"Anger is bad for your health, old man. Moreover, remember the Heaven's Oath, you cannot do anything against me, in any direct or indirect way."
Solliver's facial features did not change, and he kept looking at him before burying his desire to kill him in the deepest part of his heart.
Yuta continued his words after he finished his calculations, or this is what happened to Solliver:
"Equipping one entertainment center with games costs 145,000 platinum coins, for a total of 725,000 platinum coins."
"The price of the ice cream machines from the latest version is 23 gold coins, and you ordered six ice cream machines, meaning the total amount is 138 gold coins. As for one microphone, it costs four gold coins, and the price of the total of 34 microphones is 136 gold coins."
"The price of one freezer of the latest model is 168 gold coins, for a total of 76,608 gold coins, or let's say three platinum coins."
"Therefore, the total amount, with the price of installation and connection work, is 725,000 platinum coins and 77,455 gold coins."
The manager looked at the bill in his hands for several seconds. The amount was so astronomical, that it would be enough to bankrupt numerous provinces, sects, and clans.
But for Versalkin Academy, it was not a large amount, her treasury was full of numerous treasures, and the total amount would not affect her.
Moreover, Versalkin Academy was not fully responsible for the upcoming festival on the Central Continent, so the bill would be distributed to everyone within the continent.
"You don't seem to be lenient in these matters, Yuta Caseral. Wouldn't it be better to build a good reputation by helping with the preparations for the celebration of the thousand year anniversary of the defeat of the Demon World?"
Yuta returned his electronic tablet to his own dimensional space, while looking at Solliver with calm eyes.
He smiled slightly as he looked towards the Versalkin Academy courtyard through the open window, to find the students and teachers helping with preparations for the upcoming festival celebration.
"Listen to me, Solliver, I'm not a fool to play a cheap trick on me. As for the money, you have until dawn the next day to pay the price, otherwise the contract will be void."
Yuta's tone of voice was firm as he got up from his chair and left his office.
This made Solliver extremely angry, and on top of that, Carter Pleasures leaving once again to the Heavenly Immortals Academy to complete the procedures there, to facilitate decent living conditions for the students when they went there in the next world, made the pressure of the Academy's responsibility fall entirely on him.
"That bastard knows things that shouldn't reach his ears... Ha, maybe it would be a good idea to let him into our trap."
In one of the corridors of Vrselkin Academy, Yuuta was walking around while thinking about his next steps during the upcoming festival.
"There will be VIP visitors, including Dragon Ruler Afrius and Overlord Julius. It will be a lot of fun, Overlords, Elves and Angels in one place."
"However, it seems that the Tai Clan is still investigating me at the moment, due to the murder of Edward Brezek, and their suspicions that I killed Tai Cao Mei."
"Moreover, there are black and white scorpions tracking my every move. It gets annoying as time goes on."
"It's okay, though. After the Summer Festival, my problem with the Black and White Scorpions and Aster Guilford will be solved at the same time, along with several other problems."
Yuta said quietly to himself as he walked through the corridors of Versalkin Academy.
On his way, he encountered Jian Yi and Tom, who were walking around together and headed to the courtyard of Versalkin Academy to help with the preparations.
Jian Yi's family was coming, and he had to show that he had grown and improved during the time he had spent within the Versalkin Academy.
They both looked at him for several seconds, before turning to him.
"How are you, Yuta? You looked tired last night."
Tom spoke quietly while looking at Yuta.
To respond to him as they continue on their way:
"I was busy last night thinking about preparations for the upcoming festival. There is a lot of work that I will be doing, and all I am waiting for is the director to approve the agreed upon amount, nothing else."
They both looked at him in surprise for several seconds. They knew that the price of the devices was high, and that Versalkin Academy would need a lot of the materials that his companies manufactured.
The amount will not be cheap, but they will pay huge sums of money to obtain these devices. However, there was no discomfort.
The resources Utah's companies needed to make their devices were expensive, and going easy on selling them cheap would be costly, and could guarantee the collapse of his companies in a very short time.
Jian Yi spoke calmly as he looked at the excited students around. The sight was one of happiness and enthusiasm, but he kept his facial features calm:
"So, you're not going to give up a single copper coin, are you?"
Yuta did not answer his question, but his calm look was the biggest evidence that he had no intention of giving up a single penny.
Even though the festival will be a free promotion of his products, at the same time it will indirectly show the quality and cleanliness of his work.
Deciding to continue on their way without saying anything useless, Fuuta had no intention of revealing information about his contract with Versalkin Academy.
Both Tom and Jian Yi knew that they would not extract any important information from him no matter how hard they tried.
Several minutes passed before they reached the courtyard of Versalkin Academy, which was crowded with students and professors from different years, levels, and specializations.
"Slow down, slow down! Don't mess it up... good!"
"Will you shut up? Don't act like an expert in gluing lanterns, you're seriously distracting me!"
"Does anyone know where the ropes are to hang the flags?"
"A little more!"
"No, stop! Don't put it there!"
"A little to the right!"
"Good, well done!"
"Wow! Versalkin Academy is in full gear preparing for the festival! Let's go help!"
"Awesome! I'm so excited, it's going to be an unforgettable festival! And on top of that, there will be no classes until the end of the festival! Ha-ha-ha-ha!"
The atmosphere was full of happiness and cooperation between the students and professors. They had one goal, which was to prepare for the most important event in their lives and ensure their future.
The festival wasn't just a celebration of their defeat of the Demon World a thousand years ago, it was just a time for proof, guaranteeing a seat in great sects or major powers at worst, and to show that other powers still maintained their power and gained new alliances.
However, the students who were on Jigua Island did not feel any worry, as they had already proven themselves over the past days.
This made students of other disciplines feel jealous of them, as their seats were guaranteed in great sects and clans, as inner or even outer disciples.
"So, what are you two going to do? Are you going to help with the festival preparations or are you just going to keep an eye on what's going on?"
Yuta's calm tone of voice was enough to break the several minutes of silence.
They looked at the students and teachers for several seconds, before Jian Yi spoke confidently while looking towards Yuta:
"I will take advantage of this time to rest, as we have faced stronger enemies than the other students."
"Moreover, all eyes will be on us future Master Class students during the duration of the festival, and you will be the one who will be most noticed by enemies and friends."
After hearing Jian Yi's words, he turned his gaze towards Tom, as if Jian Yi's article was not important to him.
A slight smile appeared on Tom's face as he understood the meaning of Yuta's looks:
"I'll rest my part. I'm still tired from what happened the previous days, so I'll either be in my apartment or walking around Gusembourg for the next three days."
Yuta spoke calmly after hearing each other's opinion indifferently, making them both feel slightly annoyed:
"Do whatever you want for the next three days, but after that things will be dangerous, and every foolish action will make you both pay a heavy price."
Seriousness appeared on both of their faces as they listened to Yuta's words. His words were a truth that they had to accept. Celebrating their victory over the Demon Realm was not without consequences.
The presence of great powers such as the Elven Empire, Angels, Orcs, and Barbarians would be enough to ignite a large-scale war with undesirable consequences.
How would you know if the war was against the world of dragons and elves? It would be a war that none of them would wish for even in their darkest nightmares.
The next seven days were like a time bomb waiting to explode, ending the world they knew.
However, that did not stop them from celebrating, as every student, professor, and person in the human world knew about it, yet they decided to continue.
Fear does not prevent a person from completing his path to achieving his own goals. They had to be committed, patient, and play along with the nature of the non-human guests, and the same applies to those guests in turn.
Humans were not weak after all, there was Reinhardt, who was considered one of the strongest entities in the ordinary world they were currently in.
Elsewhere, Seok, Yoruichi, and Gray were walking around Gusmbourg City, while watching the residents preparing for the festival.
Everyone was working happily and cheerfully, and the shops were closed in preparation for the festival, and stalls of all kinds and shapes were being prepared.
However, Seok was absent-minded as he walked around with them, his focus on his family and his friend Soo Ho, preventing him from enjoying the joyful and happy atmosphere that was going on around him.
This was not hidden from both Gray and Ruichi, who knew that Seok and Soo Ho had a strong relationship.
"Do you want to visit your friend Soo Ho in the rehabilitation center?"
Yoruichi's tone of voice was calm as he looked at him out of the corner of his eye.
Signs of shock appeared on Seok's face as he looked at him. They had banned him last night, because the students' condition was psychologically and mentally unstable.
But he did not prevent a slight smile from appearing on his face. Yoriichi was Reinhardt's son, and it was illogical for them to refuse him a request, otherwise they would fall into many undesirable problems.
However, he kept looking at him, trying to understand his true purpose or intention in what he was doing.
Then Yoriichi spoke, revealing the reason for doing so:
"Didn't you kill the traitors who tried to kill me when I was in a state of complete exhaustion, unable to move an inch of my body or an ounce of my strength?"
Seok looked at him for several seconds with incomprehension and slight confusion. His previous life was based on the principle of survival of the fittest, and the idea of repaying the debt was almost non-existent to him.
"If you want to repay the debt I owe you, that's fine, Mr. Yurici de Moliard."
Seok spoke with suppressed happiness and apparent calm.
Gary spoke with clear annoyance while placing his hands on their shoulders:
"We're not in for a cheap backstory, so we'd better head out to meet your mate."
Both Yoruichi and Seok looked at him in surprise, yet decided to continue on their way without saying anything else.
Twenty-four minutes later, at the rehabilitation center, all of them were in front of the gate, looking toward the center with calm gazes, imagining themselves if they were in the place of the students and professors who died during the events of Jigua Island and Uspeckers City.
Let a guard stand between them and entering the rehabilitation center.
The guard's gaze was cold and sharp, while the aura of an expert ruler emanated from his body, as he spoke with a mixture of calm, firmness, and respect:
"Mr. Seok, I told you earlier that you cannot enter for several security reasons, so we ask you to leave the place."
"As for Mr. Gray de Moliard and Yurici de Moliard, we ask you to understand the situation of the patients inside the medical center, as their condition is very sensitive."
A quiet sigh escaped Yoruichi's mouth as he looked at him, speaking in an indisputable tone:
"We have an important person called, Su Ho, an elite class student from Makindye City, who died due to betrayal by unknown persons."
"That is why we want to visit the patient. Moreover, he is considered a person under the care of the Duchy de Moliard. As the son of the Duchy de Moliard, I order you to get out of my way immediately."
Yoruichi's facial expression was cold and did not accept any discussion of any kind, while a tyrannical aura full of power and authority emanated from his body.
This made the guard unable to say anything, so he automatically bowed down, cold sweat pouring out of his body.
"Very well, as you command, Yurici de Moliard. You may enter, but you will not see what pleases you during this visit."
None of them paid attention to the guard's words as they headed inside the rehabilitation center, they knew what they would encounter from the beginning.
Gary spoke with a small smile while patting Seok's shoulder:
"Come on, let's visit your comrade Su Ho."
They then enter the rehabilitation center designated to treat them from the shock of death.
They found it like a prison inside a hospital. Everything was sad and strict.
Doctors carried tools to subdue patients who tried to escape every day, or prevent them from killing themselves.
They continued their way towards the reception center, where the receptionist was sitting behind strong, unbreakable glass.
The receptionist, who was only receiving people allowed into the center, looked at them, making her not work at all.
"Hello, Monsieur Yurici de Moliard and Gray de Moliard, what brings you?"
The receptionist's tone was somewhat confused, she was not used to the presence of students or children, but they were characters she could not underestimate.
However, Seok didn't care about that, so he spoke in a calm tone while looking at her:
"I want the room number of the student Su Ho from the elite class, one of the students who was betrayed on Jiju Island during the battle against the Scorpion Organization."
The receptionist looked at him for a split second with contempt. Soo Ho had no title, indicating that he was from the common people, or, more correctly, from the very poor class, unlike Armin, who was from the middle class, which is why he had the title of Siegmort.
However, having two members of the most powerful families with him, coming for that person, and Seok being the one who spoke, made her realize that Soo Ho had terrifying connections, and insulting him would bring her complicated problems.
She didn't want to fall into it, especially after she noticed Seok's angry facial expression, because he noticed the look of contempt on her face, and the matter was not hidden from Gray and Ruichi.
