Melody POV
Now I am 22 years old living a normal life but as an orphan. I sold off all dad and mom's property relocating to another country for a fresh start. I got admitted to Stanford Law School in California. Being in a law university student is tough because you have to study so many things like: Contracts, Torts, Criminal Law, Property Law, Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law and more. Damn. This is torture. Definitely. But the fun part was I found my childhood best friend in the same in the university. Stella is studying law because she wants a Judge. So that she'll judge the wrong and put them in their place. Judge is more powerful than lawyers. From what I know Judges has a final say while lawyers just prepare legal documents, argue cases in court, negotiate settlements, and provide legal advice. But either way that is what she wants to do in future to come.
"Melody let's go the lecture is about to start", Stella said tapping my shoulder before standing up.
Ugh. I have to go back to the four hours of boring lectures again. 30 minutes break isn't enough for that. But I have to go since I have no choice. Anyways I took my LV bag and left. On my way to class there's Drex, Stella's twin brother. I didn't know Stella had a big brother till he entered the same high school as me and Stella. And now he's here.
"Drex leave her alone. We are going to class" Stella intervened her voice annoyed but calm.
"What? I didn't do anything. I just wanted to see how she is doing. Is it a crime?" Drex asked
"The fact that you can change girls faster than you can change shirts is still on and Melody is not going to be your nexttarget"
"Alright fine. I leave her alone but it's her choice not yours"
"Guys" I stepped in "Calm down" I turned to Drex "Drex I would love to be your friend nothing more nothing less"
"Thank you Melody. I will see you both later" Then he left. Oh well.
