Chapter 52 - Chapter 52

Kenshin KNEW that telekinesis could be developed through practice but understood that this ability under no circumstances could become strong enough for him to handle at least someone from Akatsuki within six years.

After dinner, Kenshin did a small telekinesis training, moving small objects. From now on, he decided to perform all the simplest tasks using telekinesis to hone control and strength of the ability.

At the moment, it was insanely difficult for him even to hold a pencil in the air. One thing was rolling a salt shaker across the table, and quite another — lifting an object into the air. But he did not give up, and after two hours of training, his head became cottony again, and his eyes stuck together from fatigue, so he headed to the second bedroom again and fell asleep in minutes, deciding not to disturb the girls and let them spend this night with the babies.

In the morning of the 174th day, after breakfast, Kenshin told Ichiro to stay and led him with Fourth to the living room, ordering all household members not to disturb them without extreme necessity.

Initially, he wanted to use his own memories but decided that memories from Ichiro's perspective would be much more effective for one of the brothers.

All three took comfortable positions, and Kenshin placed both hands on his sons' heads and repeated yesterday's words, urging them to relax.

"Ichiro, concentrate on Keiji. Your task is to think about him. About how you remembered him from birth up to that very day." Kenshin calmly said, to which Ichiro opened his eyes and stared at his father in amazement but remained silent, and after a few seconds closed his eyes again and concentrated on memories of his brother.

Fourth was also surprised but did not show it. He had heard about the older brother who died before his birth and how it affected his mother and father. He considered Keiji a hero who sacrificed his life protecting their beloved father.

It took Kenshin about five minutes to establish a stable connection, and the session finally began. He helped Ichiro select the right memories and guided and supported him in every way, broadcasting into Fourth's mind numerous fragmented but sequential memories.

The first was a memory of how Ichiro was first allowed to hold his fragile younger brother and how joyfully he felt.

Then came countless pictures of measured family life when Kenshin, Aya, Ichiro, and little Keiji enjoyed life, almost every day going to the river or forest.

First acquaintance with a rabbit, frightened squeal, and then joyful laughter upon contact with a fish. Happy look of blue eyes of a child who received candy, and glassy look of a dying youth with a pierced heart.

As soon as Fourth saw the last picture, the telepathic connection abruptly broke, and he opened his eyes, which became bright red with one small comma. Bloody tears flowed from Fourth's eyes, and it was hard for him to breathe. The seen memories hit his perception like a steel hammer, and his chest ached.

After the connection broke, Kenshin winced a bit and opened his teary eyes. Although he had perfect memory and remembered EVERYTHING down to the smallest details, it still hurt him, especially when he saw everything from a different angle. He grieved deeply for his second son, and only the pain of loss had slightly subsided when it was returned with new force.

"Congratulations, son." Kenshin said without much joy and patted Fourth on the shoulder. "Ichiro, help him get used to the Sharingan, and I'll go rest a bit."

As soon as Kenshin tried to stand up, his head suddenly spun, and his vision darkened. He staggered sharply, regained coordination, and calming his jumped-up sons, headed to the bedroom, this time taking Aya with him.

After it became known that Fourth had awakened the Sharingan, all members of the Nakayama family were delighted. Aya glowed with happiness, Natsumi congratulated "little Fourth" and her best friend, and his younger brothers were full of joy and and envy.

Kenshin rested until evening, and at dinner announced that he would conduct one session a day and ordered Sixth to get a good night's sleep and be ready by morning.

After dinner, he trained telekinesis a bit again and collapsed exhausted once more, falling asleep separately from the girls again. He needed absolute peace, so he deliberately went to bed in another room.

Kenshin understood that the first few days or weeks were the most difficult; his brain had to get used to harsh loads and become many times stronger. He KNEW that this was relatively safe, and one would have to try hard to get injured from overexertion of psi forces. For that, he would need to forcibly break into the mind of a strong-willed person or strain his forces and "jump ten times above his head".

The next day after breakfast, Kenshin repeated the "session" with Sixth but already without Ichiro. All the necessary memories were in his head, so he easily transferred them to Sixth's mind.

Everything went the same as the first time, with minor adjustments. Kenshin slightly changed the transmission of memories, arranging them in such a sequence that everything looked as sad as possible. He himself did not like such a cynical approach, but for the sake of awakening the Sharingan in his sons — he was ready to cross the boundary of his principles.

At the end of the session, Sixth sharply opened his eyes, from which bloody tears poured, and the iris turned red, becoming a classic Sharingan with one tomoe.

Kenshin was morally exhausted, so without much delight he congratulated Sixth and went to rest.

This time he rested a bit faster than before, so shortly before dinner he trained telekinesis, trying to hold a small apple in the air. Even this, in his opinion, trifle — was incredibly difficult for Kenshin.

It was worth getting distracted a little, and the apple fell on the bed, after which Kenshin needed at least a second to concentrate and lift it into the air again.

Aya and Natsumi had already recovered from childbirth and were hinting in every way that they were ready for new pregnancy, but Kenshin was not up to it. His brain was in an active phase of transformation and adaptation to new abilities, so Kenshin felt fatigue almost all the time.
