Inside the villa, Harold and I waited for trouble to show up while Patty finally got what she'd been desperately hoping for. Four elite mercenaries.

The moment they approached, Patty impatiently jabbed her finger toward Harold's villa. "That's the one! Go inside and kill that woman, Phoebe! Kill her!"
Her face twisted with excitement, her voice shrill and manic, as though Phoebe were already corpse.
Patty had hired these four mercenaries from overseas. Word was they'd never botched a job.
Their rates were several times steeper than other mercenaries. But you got what you paid for.
Patty felt confident that for such steep fees, they'd definitely kill Phoebe.
Once Phoebe was dead, whatever so-called truths she was digging up would be buried for good.
Sergio could return, she'd still be the Hale family's spoiled princess, and all the Hale assets would remain hers to grab.
