Chapter 1 - Memory

It All Started That Night All I Could Remember Was Running.I was running, my breath ragged, my heart pounding in my chest. The city streets blurred together as I fled, not sure what I was running from, only that I had to get away. The neon lights of clubs and bars streaked past like fireflies, mocking me with their cheeriness.I didn't know who I was, or where I was going. All I knew was the panic, the fear that something was closing in on me. I ducked into an alley, gasping for air, and leaned against a cold wall.

That's when I saw them. Five men, each with eyes that locked onto mine, each with a story written on their faces.

There was Ethan, the cold elite with a jawline chiseled from marble, and secrets worth killing for. Trey, the loyal protector with a quiet strength that made me shiver. Liam, the playful flirt with a grin that could disarm a bomb. Amir, the rival with eyes that burned like the night, and a smile that could freeze me in place. And Jace, the tech-whiz with glasses perched on his nose, hiding a heart that beat like a drum.

As I stood there, frozen, they began to close in. Not to trap me, but to surround me, each with a pull that made my heart skip a beat. I felt like a moth caught in a whirlwind, helpless to resist the flames.

Ethan spoke first, his voice low and even. "We need to talk, Alex." Alex - was that my name I nodded, unsure, and they led me into a world of danger, desire, and secrets. A world where love didn't come in just one form, and neither did destiny.

As we walked, the city came alive around us, a symphony of lights and sounds that matched the beat of my heart. I knew I was in trouble, that these men would unravel me, piece by piece. But I couldn't help myself - I was drawn to them, each one a universe of contrasts, each one a key to a door I didn't know existed.

And as we disappeared into the night, I knew it all started that night, all I could remember was running.
