Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 Target: Captain America

"Jarvis, search the entire network for information about the Infinity Stones. This is a long-term mission. I want you to monitor the network at all times and notify me immediately if you find any relevant clues."

"There are six Infinity Stones, roughly this size, with distinct, regular geometric shapes, and they come in several colors such as green, purple, red, and blue."

"Also, search for all information involving supernatural powers, including but not limited to magic, aliens, mutants, mad scientists, and so on and so forth…"

"Especially an alien called Thanos. His characteristics are purple skin, a tall stature, about two meters tall, male, and he uses a double-edged greatsword over a meter long…"

…Iron Man gave Jarvis a series of commands.

"Sir, what level of retrieval authorization is this?"

Jarvis asked.

Iron Man had set different levels of retrieval authorization for Jarvis. Under normal circumstances, Jarvis's searches would be limited to the "secure network."

Jarvis would automatically filter out some confidential information from relevant departments or with security clearance.

But that was just the default authorization. In certain special circumstances, the default authorization was clearly insufficient for Iron Man's needs.

"Level One authorization!"

Iron Man said without hesitation.

Level One authorization was the highest level of retrieval authorization set by Iron Man. Under this authorization, Jarvis's searches would have no limits.

Even highly confidential materials, as long as Jarvis could crack them, would be retrieved without hesitation.

"Understood, sir!" Jarvis responded without question.

"Additionally, prioritize finding me all information related to Captain America's plane crash seventy years ago!"

"At the same time, there's a boy named Peter, who should be in high school about ten years from now, with dark brown hair…"

Iron Man rattled off many commands to Jarvis.

Jarvis immediately began to execute them.

And according to Iron Man's request, he prioritized searching for information related to Captain America's last mission and displayed it before Iron Man.

"Sir, there are classified materials from the Department of Defense, the military, and S.H.I.E.L.D., but cracking them will take some time."

"Hurry up and crack them!"

Iron Man casually instructed Jarvis while reviewing the ordinary information currently available on the secure network.

Captain America played a crucial role in the future Endgame battle, and his personal display of fearless spirit had earned Iron Man's respect.

So Iron Man decided to find Captain America first.

If the other party truly was frozen in the Arctic Ocean for seventy years, as he suspected, Iron Man wouldn't mind saving him.

Besides that, Iron Man also had a small ulterior motive.

They had all previously guessed that the scenes shown in the Q&A system were from the future, but that was just a guess, nothing more. No one could truly confirm it.

Finding Captain America was also an opportunity to verify this.

If it was ultimately discovered that Captain America was indeed not dead, then it would prove that their previous guess was correct, and those scenes were indeed from the future!

This was very important.

Iron Man began to immerse himself in work, forgetting food and sleep… No one dared to take the Q&A system lightly.

As Iron Man began his preparations, Coulson also returned to the Triskelion and came before Nick Fury.

He reported everything that had happened to Nick Fury in detail.

"Are you saying that the Q&A system paused time for everyone except the three of you?"

"That Allspark shard really turned Rhodes's phone into a robot?"

"And the disguise skill, which was practically ingrained in your mind, disappeared completely?"

Nick Fury stared with his one eye, fixedly looking at Coulson standing before him, his face filled with surprise.

But even though Nick Fury expressed astonishment, he did not doubt his capable confidant.

After all, Nick Fury himself knew the truth of this world, knowing that supernatural forces like magic existed.

If even an adorable big orange cat could swallow the Tesseract, what else couldn't happen in this world?

The only question now was… "Why you three!"

Nick Fury began to ponder, "According to your description, the person behind this wants to reveal some future information through this Q&A method. This deduction is reasonable and well-founded."

"The only question is, why did the person behind it choose you three!"

"A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, a military colonel, and a genius scientist who just ignited the American public opinion. Do you three have anything in common?"

"Sir, that question, I'm afraid, would have to be asked of the person behind it." Coulson raised an eyebrow.

Then, looking at Nick Fury, he asked seriously, "What should we do now? Is it necessary to contact Captain Marvel to verify that cosmic overlord, Thanos?"

"There's no need for that." As Coulson expected, Nick Fury waved his hand and refused directly.

Someone of Captain Marvel's caliber cannot be contacted casually. Such a heavyweight trump card needs to be used when it truly matters.

How could she be disturbed for such a minor matter?

"Whether it's the cosmic overlord Thanos, or the many superheroes revealed by the person behind it… the information we have is too limited. At the very least, we don't even have names."

At this point, Nick Fury slowly raised his head, his single eye fixed on Coulson, "Coulson, I hope your memory hasn't deteriorated."

"I will assign the best sketch artists to assist you. Do your best to draw me some portraits, even if it's just one person!"

The scenes broadcast by the Q&A system contained many characters, most of whom were in battle and not static.

It would undoubtedly be very difficult for Coulson to recall the appearance of certain people under such circumstances and relay it to a sketch artist to piece together relevant portraits.

This was a daunting task.

"I'll do my best, sir!"

Coulson replied, then without further unnecessary words, he withdrew.

"Is Captain America really still alive?"

After Coulson left, Nick Fury murmured to himself, "Perhaps I can start with Captain America."

On this point, Nick Fury's thoughts were quite similar to Iron Man's.

Learning that Captain America might not be dead, as the head of S.H.I.E.L.D., Nick Fury naturally couldn't remain indifferent. He had to investigate, no matter what.

Furthermore, this was indeed the best opportunity to verify the authenticity of the Q&A system.
