Helena's POV
I burst through the door of what used to be my bedroom, heart hammering against my ribs.
Yannis lies sprawled across my former bed, his face buried in the pillow, deep snores echoing through the room. Without hesitation, I plant my palms against his broad shoulders and shake him with desperate urgency.
He flips onto his back with a theatrical groan that could wake the dead. "What the hell?"
"We need to leave. Now."
One dark eye cracks open, peering at me through the dim light filtering through the curtains. "Come again?"
"We're going back to the Wildmane Pack territory."
His arm drapes dramatically over his forehead as another exaggerated groan escapes his lips. "You're absolutely insufferable. Has anyone ever told you that?"
I yank his arm away from his face, my wolf clawing at my insides with impatience. "I left something crucial behind. Something I can't live without."
"Sweet Goddess, you're going to be the death of me."
