Chapter 4 - Chapter 4: I want to become Chairwoman Akikawa’s Trainer

"Quite a big talk, wanting to cultivate three Triple Crown Horse Girls. Are you already aiming to surpass Miss Tojo?"

Akikawa Yayoi gently fanned herself, revealing an intrigued expression.

The Miss Tojo she referred to was Tojo Hana, the Trainer of Rigil.

Tojo Hana was currently the best Trainer at Tracen Academy, and her team, Rigil, was also the strongest overall team at Tracen Academy.

The Seven-Crown "Emperor" Symboli Rudolf, the Triple Crown Narita Brian, the "Empress" Air Groove, and the undefeated "Supercar" Maruzensky were all members of Rigil.

"Perhaps they can win more than one Triple Crown, after all, this is just the current 'small goal'."

Sakura Bakushin O looked at Akikawa Yayoi and chuckled softly.

After all, besides the Classic Triple Crown Race and the Triple Tiara, there are also the Spring Triple Crown and the Autumn Triple Crown.

Strictly speaking, an Horse Girl can achieve a Triple Crown a maximum of three times.

"What if you can't do it?"

Chairwoman Akikawa stopped fanning herself, the fan covering most of her face, revealing only a pair of slightly narrowed, deep blue eyes.

"At your discretion."

Sakura Bakushin O chuckled, her tone brimming with confidence.

"But what if I succeed?"

"Same here. You can make any request, and as long as I can fulfill it, I will agree to all of them."

"Alright, Yayoi, don't you dare regret this."

"You must call me Chairwoman when we're outside!"

Hearing Sakura Bakushin O's address, Akikawa Yayoi corrected her with a smile, then added:

"Tell me your wish now. I don't want you to change your mind at the last minute and cause trouble for me to clean up."

"Then, Yayo... Chairwoman, same for you."

Sakura Bakushin O walked to the desk, picked up a small piece of white paper, and quickly scribbled a simple sentence:

"I want to be Chairwoman Akikawa's Trainer."

Sakura Bakushin O had decided on this idea as soon as she entered the room, having learned from the system that Akikawa Yayoi was also an Horse Girl.

Akikawa Yayoi's training difficulty was very high, but this also meant that if she helped her achieve her goals and win, she would receive reward points far exceeding those from other Horse Girl.

Since Akikawa Yayoi had proposed such a condition, Sakura Bakushin O would not be polite.

After writing, Sakura Bakushin O folded it neatly and placed it in front of Akikawa Yayoi.

"It's done."

"Mine is also done."

Akikawa Yayoi said, taking two envelopes from a drawer and handing one to Sakura Bakushin O.

"Your envelope will stay with me, sealed with wax, and we'll open it when we honor the bet."

"What about the Chairwoman's?"

"Mine is for you. But no peeking, okay?"

Akikawa Yayoi said, taking out a small piece of sealing wax and a candle from the drawer. After heating and melting it, she sealed both envelopes.

She used orange wax for hers, and blue wax for Sakura Bakushin O's.

Sakura Bakushin O smilingly put the envelope into her pocket, then turned to look at the two slightly bewildered Horse Girl, gently placing her hands on their heads.

"Oh, right, Teio and McQueen agreed to duel on the academy track today. You two should go watch. After that, have Teio and McQueen show you around."

"Ah, really?! Teio and McQueen are dueling again!"

"Okay, thank you, Trainer-san. We'll go now."

Kitasan Black and Satono Diamond's eyes lit up after hearing Sakura Bakushin O's words.

Excitedly, they bowed deeply to Sakura Bakushin O and Akikawa Yayoi, then hurried out of the Chairwoman's office.

Akikawa Yayoi sat in her office chair, her porcelain-white hand propping up her delicate and pretty face, her deep blue eyes watching Sakura Bakushin O, who was seeing Kitasan Black and Satono Diamond off, with a hint of amusement, and she softly murmured:

"So cute~"

Sakura Bakushin O turned her head at the sound, smiling and nodding.

"I think so too!"

"Hmph." Akikawa Yayoi chuckled softly, "Aren't you going to watch Teio and McQueen's race?"

"No, I won't. Rather than seeing them win, I'd rather not see one of them lose," Sakura Bakushin O replied with a smile.

--

Kitasan Black and Satono Diamond, having left the Chairwoman's office, could not contain their excitement.

Upon learning that Tokai Teio and Mejiro McQueen would be racing, both were eager to rush to the Tracen Academy track.

However, they carefully remembered the school rule of not running fast inside the building, so they ran very cautiously.

"Diamond, I'm starting to understand what that senior just said. Our Trainer-san seems a bit strange."

Kitasan Black said to Satono Diamond beside her as she jogged.

"Indeed... I thought she would say something like 'make a splash in our debut race,' but instead, it was a Triple Crown right off the bat..."

Satono Diamond brought it up again, her voice still filled with surprise.

"But she seems to genuinely believe it... I don't think she was joking."

"For this Trainer-san, it doesn't seem like such a strange thing," Satono Diamond sighed.

"But do you think we can achieve her goal? Trainer-san seems very confident." Kitasan Black asked Satono Diamond, "Speaking of which, I was quite happy when I heard Trainer-san say that. After all, I also want to achieve a Triple Crown, just like Miss Teio..."

"Kita will definitely be fine," Satono Diamond smiled, but then her expression became slightly somber, "However, the Chairwoman doesn't seem to think so."

"Although our Trainer-san is also very capable, there's still a significant gap between her and Chairwoman Akikawa," Satono Diamond continued.

"Chairwoman Akikawa is not only the Chairwoman of Tracen Academy but also founded Japan's current national-level URA races. Since Chairwoman Akikawa dared to agree to Trainer-san's bet with such unequal terms, it means she doesn't believe she will lose, right?"

"Diamond, I don't think so." Kitasan Black shook her head.

"Eh?"

"What you just said overlooks the relationship between our Trainer-san and the Chairwoman. You saw it, our Trainer-san can call the Chairwoman by her first name, which shows how close they are."

"That makes sense..."

Satono Diamond recalled the scene just now where Sakura Bakushin O bent down, allowing Akikawa Yayoi to stand on tiptoe and pat her shoulder heavily in encouragement.

"In that case, rather than two people making a bet, I think it might be more like..."

When Kitasan Black reached this point, she looked around. After confirming no one was nearby, she lowered her voice and whispered:

"More like a mother encouraging her enthusiastic child."

"That's so like you, Kita."

Satono Diamond's face was full of surprise. She increasingly felt that what Kitasan Black said was true, but after recalling the appearance of Sakura Bakushin O and Akikawa Yayoi again, she slowly said:

"But why do I feel like Trainer-san looks more like the mother?"
