Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 Awakening of Spiritual Power

Passing the Rookie Warrior assessment essentially told the outside world that Liu Yun had no injuries at all; not only that, but Liu Yun's strength had also reached a new level.

Clever individuals were already starting to consider the new power dynamics, as Liu Yun's successful upgrade from High-level Warrior to War General was a qualitative leap.

"Hey! What are you talking about? Why would you even participate in a combat assessment? The Dojo of Limits wants you back right now."

Wang Tianba's voice came through the phone, sounding very eager, clearly indicating that the Dojo of Limits knew its mistake. Unfortunately, Liu Yun was already disappointed with them.

Holding his phone, Liu Yun pondered his next Move. He didn't want to accept favors from anyone at this point.

"The necessary procedures still need to be followed. I will participate in the Monster Town wilderness assessment as scheduled."

He deliberated repeatedly, still feeling that he needed to complete the test. In truth, he was somewhat wary of Wang Tianba and the others. He needed to build a base outside, and he couldn't let them discover any anomalies.

"Oh, are you going out to play with those kids? Or are you planning to switch allegiances once you regain your Martial Artist status? Don't think I can't see through you..."

This Wang Tianba was truly witless, quickly blurting out things that shouldn't be said directly between them. A War General-level Martial Artist passing the assessment had already sparked a scramble among many forces.

The Thunder God Martial Hall, HR Alliance, and the military were not to be trifled with. They wouldn't hesitate to poach a War General Martial Artist to serve them. There was no shame in this; everyone served their own interests.

However, Liu Yun didn't respond to Wang Tianba. He simply ended the call silently. Clearly, with a fresh start, he had new ideas and was unwilling to return to the Dojo of Limits.

In his own training room, he ignored the external turmoil and simply resumed his training, as strength was, after all, the foundation of everything.

He constantly adjusted his past Moves, those Martial Skills he had once used. Now, with the help of the Mechanical Race Clone, the first stage of the old Martial Skill, Ninefold Thunderblade, quickly reached the Realm of Great Perfection.

Liu Yun had cultivated this unorthodox technique for a long time without success, but now with the assistance of the Mechanical Race Clone, he quickly mastered the first stage. Strength was the foundation of everything; otherwise, who would care about him?

Friends, at most, might pity you once or twice, but it's absolutely impossible for them to help out more than that.

He set his longblade aside, breathing heavily, while the Mechanical Race Clone shimmered in the sunlight.

"Body, if you wish to gain greater strength, I think you might try to awaken Psychic, and I can also technologically upgrade your weapon."

This crystal possessed extremely terrifying computing power and had been continuously monitoring Liu Yun's condition. Now, it offered new suggestions.

This crystal was like an auxiliary computer; it would actively converse with Liu Yun, which was quite interesting.

Liu Yun was still checking his phone. The Dojo of Limits was very cunning; they had already unlocked his frozen account, and he could still see the posts he had made on the forum back then.

"Ah? Crystal, speak slowly, one thing at a time. Can I really awaken Psychic?"

He had left behind grand works like "Twenty-Eight Ways to Escape" and "Heart-Following Blade Art" on the forum, and he could still see people commenting on them.

Liu Yun had also dreamed of becoming a Psyche Master, but like other dreams, after a few failures, it would simply fade away.

"Yes! Body, let me explain. The average human brain is like a disk with a storage capacity of 300TB. So-called Psyche Masters are merely a group of special Earthlings with a brain capacity of about 2000TB. And this Clone's storage capacity is approximately 51200DB."

As the crystal explained this to Liu Yun, Liu Yun couldn't help but be startled. So, the human brain was only 300TB of storage capacity. He didn't quite understand the 'DB' the crystal mentioned, but since it was the Automaton Race's storage capacity, it must mean it was incredibly vast.

"So what do you mean? Give me all your capacity?"

Liu Yun asked very directly. He didn't understand much and was still looking at various new types of thermal weapons! He saw that technology was advancing rapidly, and perhaps he should also update his equipment, at least buying a thermal weapon capable of long-range attacks.

"Body, doing so is actually a form of torture. Once the Automaton Race's powerful computing power is shared with your brain, your primitive Earthling's fragile Soul will immediately collapse. On Earth, many Psyche Masters also face this problem. This requires an increase in your Soul strength and an appropriate Martial Skill Realm. I will handle it as deemed fit."

The crystal automatically floated, emitting a Zhanblue hot ray into Liu Yun's mind. Liu Yun was startled, immediately feeling as if his Sea of Consciousness had exploded.

"Ah! What is this?"

He couldn't even hold his phone, feeling extreme pain. At the same time, everything around him began to twist.

This sensation surpassed all tortures on Earth, even more unbearable than being flayed alive. It was a distortion that penetrated deep into his Soul, making Liu Yun utterly miserable.

If the Mechanical Race Clone had truly shared all its capacity with Liu Yun, he believed he would definitely die on the spot; it was too terrifying! He completely didn't understand the later mention of Soul strength and Martial Skill Realm. He probably wouldn't be able to comprehend such things until he reached the Universe Rank, at the very least?

However, the Clone emitted a very mechanical sound. This was because Liu Yun's strength was too weak, and Earth was too backward.

"A small amount of capacity has been shared. You are now a Psyche Master."

The crystal's words didn't excite Liu Yun as much as they should have. What was pain? Kneeling on the ground, he began to shout softly, continuously pounding the ground.

Compared to the embarrassment of losing his power a while ago, nothing else mattered. Now, as long as he could awaken Psychic, he would be willing to die of pain.

In the intense pain, Liu Yun made a grasping motion with his right hand. The phone, which had fallen to the ground with a shattered screen, actually flew directly into his hand.

This was Psychic. Liu Yun looked at the light on the phone, filled with immense joy. A Psyche Master's strength was two levels higher than a Martial Artist's. He was an Elementary War General, so his Psychic level was that of a High-level War General.

Now, as long as he didn't stir up trouble, avoided War Gods and their families, friends, subordinates, and so on, Planetary Level experts like council members probably wouldn't bother with an apprentice like him.

In that case, Liu Yun could be considered a low-level overlord, doing whatever he wanted, with no one daring to provoke him, and perhaps even commanding a large group of subordinates.

"Good! This is great. It's not that I'm greedy for fame and fortune; it's just that the world is dangerous, and one has no choice but to become strong."

Liu Yun felt very satisfied. The world was dangerous, and people only feared violence. The taste of his previous destitution was truly unpleasant.

This crystal clearly possessed various incredible abilities. It floated and then fired a fiery red laser at Liu Yun's blade for a while. A string of inscriptions appeared on the blade, a modification unimaginable with Earth's Hemudu smelting technology.

The straight blade seemed to be imbued with life; the blade body vibrated slightly, and a shining crystal appeared on the hilt.

Transformed appearance.

"Three forms: one is a gun form, capable of long-range attacks. One is a cold weapon form, capable of releasing lightning or direct slashing. The last one is a large shield form, releasing a light barrier to absorb enemy damage."

This straight blade, a direct descendant of China, constantly changed forms, displaying extremely novel abilities. After mechanical modification, it had become a very useful weapon.

Whether it was thrusting, parrying, sweeping, or chopping, it seemed effortless, and its power doubled.

Liu Yun's strength had further improved, and he was infinitely joyful, but the broken phone still needed to be repaired.

He went downstairs, bought some wilderness equipment, compressed food, first-aid medicine, and also got a new phone. In the future, he would go to Monster Town, a dangerous area located in a remote part of the base.

That place had some control, but it wasn't strict. On one hand, there were some dangers; on the other hand, because of its proximity, it was also suitable for Liu Yun to set up a base and travel back and forth from there.

"The town has a port, an airport, and abandoned residential buildings. It's truly a good place to hide."

Liu Yun had planned everything. In fact, he still harbored greater ambitions, wanting to reach the God of War level and even higher. To do that, he would have to upgrade his machine base.
