Chapter 35 - Krieg Vs Alan

"Don't get careless. I'll handle Krieg. You two take care of this area."

Alan said without turning his head. Then, he leaped off the cliff, leaving Sham and Buchi and the rest to clean up the aftermath.

Recalling the first time they met Alan, Buchi muttered, "Such a familiar entrance. Boss really likes jumping off cliffs, huh?"

"Stop talking. I'm waiting to fight alongside the boss. Let's take them down quickly."

Sham urged impatiently.

...

Elsewhere.

Bang!!

Alan's feet slammed onto the warship's deck. The cracks rapidly spread outward, but miraculously, the deck did not collapse under him.

"Bastard!"

"Kill him!"

Seeing Alan approach alone, dozens of pirates armed with weapons immediately charged.

But for these pirates, already so starved that their movements were sluggish, Alan had no intention of engaging them.

He leapt into the air, directly heading toward Krieg.

Bang!

As his feet left the deck, the cracked planks suddenly broke apart, and the advancing pirates all fell into the ship's cabin, terrified.

Facing Alan rushing through the air, Krieg's eyes flashed with anger, mixed with a hint of cunningness.

"Idiot, in the air, you're just an easy target!"

He activated two gun barrels hidden in his shoulder armor.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

Four dark bullets shot out!

However, Alan, seemingly anticipating this, twisted his body mid-air into an uncanny pose.

Whistling bullets passed by his ears.

Krieg's pupils shrank in shock.

In the blink of an eye, Alan was in front of him, his long leg striking straight toward Krieg's face like a steel pillar.

Bang!!

The powerful kick hit Krieg squarely in the face, sending his blood and broken teeth flying.

Then he slid backward across the deck before slamming heavily against the wall.

Alan landed lightly on the deck. He narrowed his eyes, then stomped forcefully again to launch himself forward.

"Bastard!!"

Krieg, bloodied and furious, flipped his cloak to shield himself, revealing the spiked iron armor underneath.

"Try my Porcupine Cape, you fool!!"

But Alan paused upon reaching Krieg.

Looking at the foot exposed beneath the cloak, Alan said mockingly, "If you fight like this, you're just like a child in front of me."

He raised his foot and stomped hard on Krieg's little toe.

Bang!!

The board shattered, and the bone in Krieg's toe was crushed.

Krieg screamed, and his bloodshot eyes widened with pain.

The pain was ten times worse than stubbing a toe on a table.

Alan grinned, grabbed the spiked cloak, and wrapped Krieg's body entirely in it.

Bang!!

With a violent whip kick, Alan sent Krieg flying like a giant cannonball, making him crash through the ship's wall into a cabin.

"Captain Krieg!!"

The surrounding pirates shouted anxiously while glaring angrily at Alan.

"This despicable guy!"

"Stepping on the toes, seriously!"

Alan cupped his hand to his ear mockingly while glancing at them.

"What? You want me to step on you, too?"

The pirates, terrified, quickly withdrew.

Inside the dim, ruined cabin, Krieg knelt, grimacing as he pulled the spikes from his flesh.

His cloak stained with blood and flesh, his face pale and sweating.

Looking outside, his eyes burned with hatred, wishing he could devour Alan alive.

He removed the shoulder armor pieces, revealing a cannon embedded with a poison gas grenade.

"No matter who you are, it's over."

Krieg's gaze was cold as he put on a gas mask.

Outside, the pirates panicked: "It's a gas bomb!!"

"Wait, captain!"

"We haven't put on our masks yet!"

The pirates scrambled to escape.

But Krieg, furious, ignored them. After donning the mask, he aimed the grenade at Alan.

Bang!!

A large-caliber pistol fired a black grenade.

Boom!!

The grenade exploded, releasing a thick purple gas that quickly filled the cabin.

Outside, Alan held his breath and charged into the gas.

Inside, Krieg, though wearing a gas mask, could not see his surroundings.

Suddenly, he saw a glimpse of a shadow, but before he could react…

Click.

The gas mask fell off.

Krieg's eyes widened in shock, fear crawling up his spine, and he clutched his mouth and nose.

Just as he tried to escape, a hand pressed down on his shoulder.

His body felt unbearably heavy, as if a weight had pinned him down.

Krieg's knees buckled.

No matter how much he tried, it was as if his strength had vanished.

Alan pressed him to the ground with Aikido.

"Let... me... go! Please... please!"

Krieg begged hoarsely with bloodshot eyes, his trembling hands raised in surrender.

Alan calmly put on a gas mask, then he looked at him coldly and ignored his pleas.

On deck, pirates kept their distance from the toxic gas while watching tensely.

After a few seconds, a shadow flew out of the mist.

Krieg's massive body crashed onto the deck, lips purple and eyes rolled back, clearly having completely lost consciousness.

Behind the cliff, a pitch-black pirate ship slowly emerged, gradually sailing up beside Krieg Pirates' massive warship.

In comparison, the pitch-black pirate ship, Bezan Black, looked like a tame little kitten.

Sanji stood on the bow deck, lowered his head to light a cigarette, took a breath, and slowly exhaled rings of smoke.

"These guys are moving way too fast. I was hoping to start with a round of cannon fire first."

Looking at the massive warship, where the Sham and Buchi were happily waving at him from the railing, Sanji couldn't help but sigh with some regret.

"By the way, what's up with this warship?"

"It's damaged to this extent..."

"Unimaginable, what kind of terrifying attack must they have suffered?"

Looking at the damaged giant warship, the pirates on the deck couldn't help but discuss among themselves.

At that moment, a ladder was lowered from the giant ship, extending to the Bezan Black.

Sham and Buchi were the first to jump down from the giant ship.

"You're really fast, it almost makes us look useless."

Sanji greeted them.

Buchi and Sham responded with cheeky grins: "Hehehe, the fight was just too easy."

"The other side is starving from a lack of food; they can barely hold their weapons and hardly have any fighting ability at all."

"I see. Looks like luck's on our side today."

Sanji inhaled smoke, his expression showing sudden realization.

"Right? Right? We even found a big bag of treasure on the ship. We're going to get rich now, hahaha!"

Buchi clutched his stomach and laughed heartily, head thrown back.
