Chapter 34 - Chapter 34: The Cold War

"I'm back. You must be very hungry, right? I'll go make food for you right away." Owen tried to salvage the situation.

Rowan was truly very angry. He had once narrowly escaped death at the hands of a Stone-Legged Beast and knew full well the danger level of this creature. That time, he had been lucky; if he encountered one again, he wasn't sure he could return alive.

Unexpectedly, Owen, while injured, didn't know his own limits and went to hunt it.

If it were in the past, Rowan wouldn't have cared about Owen's life or death, leaving others to their fate.

But after going through so much, he had come to regard Owen as his teammate; the two were in the same boat. How could he tolerate Owen disregarding his own life to take risks?

He had to teach him a lesson.

Rowan looked at Owen, who had a guilty and uneasy expression, without saying a word, then coldly turned and walked away.
