What was going on?
Rowan checked everywhere. Not only the red deer meat, but even the rack he had set up had disappeared without a trace. If not for the remaining deer blood stains on the snow that couldn't be erased, he would have thought he was hallucinating.
Rowan was so angry that the veins on his forehead throbbed. He clenched his fists and said in a cold voice: "Who is it? Get out here!"
"Oh my, angry already?" Julian looked down at the Omegina, who was going slightly mad below, the corners of his mouth curving up at a perfect angle.
He was being kind by helping the Omegina save on the long smoking process that would follow; the Omegina should be thanking him properly.
If it hadn't been cleaned up so thoroughly, Rowan might have thought it was done by another animal, but he didn't expect a lunatic to be hiding here.
"I advise you to be sensible and come out. If I find you, you won't be at peace," Rowan shouted a reminder.
Oho, he even knew how to threaten people?
