Chapter 6 - Frieza’s Shock

Obviously, Yoshi was their biggest threat.

Yet, under their own arrogance, they didn't hate him—they unknowingly worked for him! What could be more satisfying than that? Truly… it was exhilarating.

"Oh, by the way, Belleblower," Frieza said, glancing at the short, chubby girl beside her. "That long-haired guy… who's his father?"

"You mean Raditz and Bardock?" Belleblower asked uncertainly.

"Yes, Saiyan," Frieza replied, swirling her glass of red wine. "Imagine if Bardock knew his son was working hard for me right now! Oh ho ho… hilarious!"

Belleblower just smiled faintly. As long as she's happy…

"Alright, enough watching," Frieza said, tapping the screen off. "Keep Vegeta's power in check. He can't grow too fast."

"Don't worry, King Frieza," Belleblower said. "The opponents we've arranged for him are weaklings. After all these years, his strength has barely increased a few thousand points."

"Good," Frieza nodded. She remembered Vegeta from when Planet Vegeta was destroyed—around 10,000 in power. Now? Still about 10,000. Not much improvement.

"Keep suppressing his growth! Give him more weak opponents!" Frieza downed the rest of her wine, delighted.

Suddenly—"Ah!"—Frieza sneezed.

"What? Did you sleep without a blanket?" Belleblower asked with concern.

Frieza glared. Can half a million power be affected by a cold breeze? She narrowed her eyes. Someone must be talking behind my back…

Belleblower rolled her eyes. Every day, you're sneezing. I don't know how many in the universe are hoping for your death…

Before they could continue, a communications officer burst in. "Report to King Frieza! It's… it's bad!"

Boom! Frieza casually hit him with an air blast. "Yell again, and you're dead!"

"Y-yes…" the officer stammered. Eyes wide, he swallowed and spoke quickly.

"King Cooler… he… he's dead!"

"What?!" Frieza's eyes widened as she grabbed the officer with one hand. "Say that again!"

"I… just received the report. King Cooler is dead!"

Frieza laughed triumphantly and tossed the officer aside. "Good! Cooler is dead—his territory is mine!"

"Ha ha ha ha!" Frieza clenched her fists, ecstatic.

Belleblower remained silent, a faint smile still on her face.

The officer muttered, Your big brother's dead, and you're thrilled? Family values… nonexistent.

"Show me the video of this glorious event!" Frieza demanded.

"Yes!" The officer quickly handed it over. Belleblower placed it into the player.

The screen showed Yoshi's fight with Cooler: Yoshi had kicked Cooler out of the stratosphere and instantly finished him. Less than two seconds. It wasn't a battle—it was a massacre.

Frieza's pupils narrowed. Behind Yoshi, she noticed a tail growing. Saiyan.

The invincible Legendary Super Saiyan…? Belleblower whispered.

Frieza gritted her teeth. I hate Super Saiyans. Why here? Why now?

And then she saw it—Cooler's planet-destroying bomb effortlessly neutralized by Whis.

"Hss!!!" Frieza gasped. That bomb could have ended her—but Whis handled it with ease!

One is a Saiyan… the other… Frieza clenched her fists.

"What is this blue-skinned creature?! Why is it so strong?!"

Two terrifying forces had appeared from nowhere.

"Wait…" Belleblower trembled. "King Frieza, I think it's in your records!"

"Blue-skinned, haloed!"

Frieza frowned. Records? What useless thing…

"Here it is!" Belleblower said, zooming in. "Thousands of years ago, King Childe recorded: 'Do not provoke the Gods of Destruction or Angels!'"

"Angel?!" Frieza's brow furrowed. Could this being really have lived for thousands of years?

Belleblower highlighted the image: a blue-skinned figure with a halo, holding a scepter, followed by a human.

Frieza trembled slightly. An Angel… alive for millennia…
