'Tsk, these stupid people do not know how to do anything. What do they mean by saying they lost the contract for the next big movie and that the director no longer wants to cast Iris? Wasn't she the rage just a few days ago?'
I slammed my phone down on the desk, the screen still glowing with bad news.
Somehow, somewhere, things had gone extremely wrong, and I could not tell where. Everything and everyone was pissing me off.
Even the quiet hum of the office felt like it was mocking me.
The reason I was so angry in the first place was because things had been going wrong for me for the past few days…and it all started with those articles from the reality show.
Many of them framed me as losing my touch and hold on the industry and praised Jenna and her partner, Damian Black.
Every headline felt like a direct slap to my face.
