~ROBERT'S POV~
I had been summoned by the council of elders. They stated it was an emergency meeting.
I quickly grabbed my suitcase and left the office. I had also missed several calls from Olivia. Was she in danger? I kept calling but she didn't respond.
I arrived at the council Chambers few moments later and went to seat on my throne. My head throbbed with pain, I was getting quite uncomfortable. I needed to see Olivia and be sure she was okay.
"Have you reached Olivia?' I asked Eric as he stood beside me.
"No Alpha!"
I got up from the throne, and kept pacing around the chamber, my hand clasped behind my back.
"Alpha Robert." A voice cut through the low murmur in the council chamber.
I lifted my gaze slowly, fingers still clasped behind my back. The room was too quiet and it was very unusual. And I could identity that this kind of quiet only came when people were waiting for an explosion.
"Yes?" I replied.
