Feeling the danger.
The first thing Galos wanted was to eliminate the source of danger.
What he most wanted, actually, was to take action under the cover of darkness tonight, swiftly attacking in the night, just like he dealt with the goblin tribe before, and erase the Black Rock Duchy's army stationed at the oil field, this 'potential danger', in one night without interruption.
Unfortunately.
Galos was very confident that he was by no means a match for the Black Rock Team, and attacking them would just be offering himself up, so he could only think of ways to mitigate the risk in other aspects.
For instance, relocating the base.
Or burning the hills to erase traces.
Galos felt that he might be a bit paranoid, valuing his life too much, but he thought being extra cautious wouldn't hurt. In this crisis-laden wilderness, caution was necessary.
Walking on thin ice, just to reach the other side.
"Someday, when I become strong enough, I will no longer have to live so cautiously."
