Chapter 7 - Chapter 7-8: Black Dragon Electric Fan (4k)

When Udi woke up again, it had already been seven days.

The first thing he did upon waking was to check his current status panel.

[Udi: Biological Level 3, Professional Level none.] (Length 3.26m→3.29m)

[Life Force: 4.13→4.20]

[Current Banquet Level: 2 Levels]

[Banquet Cooldown Time: Fourteen days]

His length increased by 3 centimeters.

Life Force increased by 0.07.

"The increase is too little," Udi flexed his body a bit and exhaled.

Actually, this improvement was already considerable, as Udi's Biological Level had reached Level 3, and generally, a Black Dragon Chick would only step into Level 3 at around two to two and a half years old.

The stronger the basic physical quality, the harder and less frequent the natural growth becomes.

In essence, it was because the Swamp Black Water Python was just a Level 6 Demon, a lower middle-tier creature among Intermediate Demons, and part of its flesh essence couldn't provide a substantial boost to Udi.

Moreover, Giant Dragons are long-lived Magical Creatures, whose strength improvements are measured in years.

Udi glanced at the time for the next Banquet activation.

Fourteen days.

"It's time to start my first hunt."

Udi had made his decision long ago.

He glanced at the Black Dragon Maiden sleeping deep in the nest, and the Dragon Brother and Long Mei sleeping at the edge of the mud pond.

Then, without a trace of reluctance, he walked towards the nest passage, heading to the outside world!

After Udi left, Long Mei Heloise, who had been asleep, quietly opened her eyes and looked at the disappearing silhouette of Udi with a suspicious expression.

Where is Udi going?

Could it be.... he's going outside?! Heloise was shocked by her own speculation.

It's important to know that they are only over a month old and at their most vulnerable period. Going outside now, they might not even need to encounter formidable demons; even a few Low-Level Demons could potentially kill them!

Even goblins, such low-level demons, if dozens of them came, would be a deadly threat to dragonlings that can't fly!

To verify her guess, Heloise secretly followed behind Udi....

At the nest passage connected to the entrance of the Rotting Swamp, a dark figure appeared.

It was Udi.

He cautiously observed the surroundings, then, without hesitation, leapt into the swamp, folding his wings tightly on his back and paddled his limbs towards the surface of the Rotting Swamp.

Five or six seconds after Udi left, Heloise's large head peeked out from the passage entrance, looking at Udi's disappearing figure in shock.

"Is Udi not afraid of death?" Heloise was stunned by Udi's fearless behavior.

Udi was only born a few days before them, and although his size was a bit larger than theirs, and his strength slightly stronger... Well, a lot stronger.

However!

This didn't change the fact that Udi was just a dragonling only over a month old!

Even the most powerful Red Dragon wouldn't dare leave the nest at just over a month old!

Feeling a sense of pity towards the already gone Udi, Heloise cheerfully turned back to the nest to continue sleeping.

Since Udi was eager to meet death, Heloise couldn't be happier.

This way, when their mother brings back prey, she'll only have to compete with Brook for it.

For Evil Dragons, this is a perfectly normal mindset. Evil Dragons are not humans; they believe in the unrestrained law of survival!

.....

At the edge of the Rotting Swamp, oddly-shaped blackish-brown trees were rustling in the gentle night wind, producing a faint rustling sound.

A vigilant Black Panther leapt onto a tree, its dark green eyes watching the dense jungle below.

Soon, the Black Panther's dark green eyes revealed a hint of excitement.

In the thick jungle, a plump gray rabbit peeked cautiously, then hopped into a lush grassy area and began feeding.

As it fed, the gray rabbit's ears remained alert and upright.

It was evident that upon discovering danger, the gray rabbit would immediately flee into a nearby burrow.

Silently and without notice, the sleek-bodied Black Panther jumped to a tree above the gray rabbit, the sound of its slight movement concealed by the wind.

In the next moment, the Black Panther became a black flash, instantly pouncing on the gray rabbit on the grass, its sharp teeth deeply piercing the rabbit's neck.

The rabbit's neck was bitten through in one chomping motion, its already dead body still twitching.

After a successful hunt, the Black Panther's taut nerves instantly relaxed, ready to feast on the hunted rabbit.

Hidden no more than ten meters away in the dense jungle, Udi expertly concealed himself, intently watching the Black Panther prepare to eat.

His steps gradually moved forward.

Nine meters, eight meters, seven meters.

Udi stopped.

If he went closer, the Black Panther's keen reaction might alert it, and besides, from this distance, Udi was confident that no matter how fast the Black Panther reacted, he could kill it!

As the Black Panther lowered its head to tear at the rabbit, Udi moved.

A swift black shadow darted from the jungle, approaching the Black Panther at terrifying speed.

By the time the Black Panther sensed danger, Udi had already struck a claw fiercely onto its head, his immense power directly rupturing the head of the robust Black Panther, which measured over three meters in length!
