Chapter 29 - For Reigh

"I could just kill him right now..." Basion thought to himself, his posture still steady. "But if I do that..."

His eyes scanned the surroundings, "That damn Cyrn will interfere and delay this damn death."

*Grip. Grip. His fingers tightly clenched the two daggers in his hands.

On the other hand, Guiver tried to get out of the current problem.

He kept spinning his brain. "Switch turns, kid." Guiver said softly after he found the answer.

"Are you sure?" Reigh asked, "Don't you hate pain?"

Guiver only gave a faint smile, "Just leave it to me."

*Haaaaa. "Alright." Guiver immediately took over Reigh's body.

"It huuurtss sooo baaaad!" Guiver grumbled irritably when the finger that Reigh had broken earlier still wouldn't heal.

"Hah?!" Basion's face showed confusion because what he saw was Reigh's pain response being far too slow.

Ignoring Basion in front of him, *Tup. Guiver jumped with a very slow movement. *Tup.

Guiver greeted him after his own business was done. "Nice to meet you."

"I don't know who you are,"

Curling his lips, "But one thing's for sure,"

"Are you seriously planning to fight me?"

Basion narrowed his eyes, "What do you mean?"

"I mean," Shrugging his shoulders, "You're very weak." Guiver mocked with a tone full of arrogance.

Basion, along with Cyrn's subordinates inside the room, felt shocked when they heard the provocation thrown by Guiver.

How could someone who was completely at a disadvantage act that calmly?

Meanwhile, only Cyrn was grinning.

Guiver added his dialogue, "100% Vs 10%?"

"That's just your nonsense."

"The fact is, we're both trapped here, and you don't intend to kill me directly."

"In other words," Squatting down, touching the white floor.

He closed his eyes, "Hm..."

"Cyrn, huh?..." Guiver muttered in his heart.

Opening his eyes, looking upward. "What do you want, Cyrn Ofdhis?" He asked the empty air.

"Have you forgotten who you are, Bastard?" He shouted.

Basion and several of Cyrn's subordinates were utterly stunned when Guiver could read the situation so easily.

Silence for a few moments,

Getting no answer, *Tok. Tok. Guiver knocked on the white floor.

When the third knock sounded, *Tok.

A cracking sound appeared, *Crack. Followed by *Crash.

Before the entire room was destroyed, a heavy voice appeared, "You can break my room?"

However, that voice immediately vanished when the entire room collapsed.

Guiver stared at Basion, who showed a face full of shock, "W-What the hell was that?!" Basion thought to himself.

"Cyrn's room..."

"Can be destroyed with just 3 knocks?!"

Guiver didn't care about Basion's question-filled face; instead, he began to close his eyes. "Return what isn't yours." He said softly, half muttering.

Followed by,

"Your turn," He said in his heart.

"Don't let him or the entire imperial army escape even a single one."

Then he spoke with a terrifying grin, "kill them all."

Glancing toward something, "Just wait for your turn," His gaze turned serious,

"Grey Lurk."

"Ready." A reply was heard from Reigh.

Without wasting time, Reigh took back control of his body.

"Hm..." Looking at his palm, "Feels better now..."

"What % are we at right now, Guiver?" Reigh asked in his heart.

"50%".

A few moments later, his gaze changed.

The remaining imperial soldiers saw Reigh reappear from afar.

They immediately ran to kill him.

Reigh began to take a stance, grinning. "Don't expect any of you to escape."

*Szzzt. Vanished as those words were spoken.

*Wsh. "One."

*Krrrt. A screech piercing through iron.

*Sreeet.

Just as the second slash was about to be directed at the next soldier,

"Don't ignore me, Bastard!" Someone shouted angrily.

*Slash. An ultra-thin, invisible attack headed toward Reigh.

However, "Wop." He quickly dodged it.

"Two."

Two soldiers had fallen.

However, *Krak. Krak. Those two fallen soldiers were able to stand back up without the slightest expression.

Even so, Reigh wasn't shaken by that, "I already knew that!"

Laughing as he began slashing the soldiers one by one.

"Osdeus Oark has a 5-minute limit, right???!!!"

"Khahahaha!"

"You're not my match!"

*Slash. Sreeet.

Just as he was enjoying himself, *Grak. His movement stopped when his leg was grabbed by a hand from below.

Followed by, "One Hit!" *Slash.

"Huh?!"

*Sret. An ultra-fast slash went straight at him and separated his head from his body.

In that split second, *Khi. He grinned.

"Heal."

The head that had just been severed slowly returned back.

Even though it wasn't his 100% Heal and 50% felt very slow for Regeneration, Reigh didn't panic at all.

Before the head returned to normal, *Slash.

His body was cut into several pieces, leaving only a head that hadn't fully regenerated.

"KHA.. KHAAAAHAHAHAHA!"

"DON'T GET COCKY YET, YOU BASTAAAAARD!"

That was Guiver's scream as he took over Reigh's body for a moment.

"HEAAAAALLLLL!" Guiver shouted.

The more he shouted, the faster his healing became.

No matter how many times his body was cut apart, no matter the pain he received, as long as it was for Reigh, he would do anything.

And...

Only Guiver was able to maximize Reigh's abilities.

In that instant, his body had fully recovered.

"YOUR TURNNNN!" The final shout Guiver let out.

Not wasting the chance Guiver gave him, Reigh immediately took back control.

*Szzzt. Disappeared again.

This time, "Yo." He targeted the platoon leader who activated Osdeus Oark.

"A—"

*Slash. That slash didn't just cut off his words, but also his body.

*Szzzt. Disappeared again, not caring about the platoon leader who was slowly healing.

The soldiers, even though they were level 30, were confused because Reigh kept disappearing.

Their formation scattered, right when the platoon leader was slashed earlier.

Basion, already fed up from being ignored over and over, started shouting. "GET OVER HEREEE REIGH ASTEIONNN!"

"Yeah." A short reply came from behind him.

Before he could turn around, *Sreeet. The slash cleanly cut Basion's neck.

"Your turn can wait, Trash."

*Szzzt. Disappeared again, not caring about Basion healing himself.

A soft voice echoed above everyone.

"Aether..."

"AOE."

In an instant, wind shaped like arrows appeared around him.

There were countless arrows. Impossible to count.

When everyone looked up, that person lowered his hand.

*Shu.

As his hand came down, the countless arrows fell at unstoppable speed.

*Bzzzt.

*Suzk. Suzk. Minced the people below completely.

He grinned.

That grin was just like the grin Guiver had when he felt satisfied.

And indeed, this time Guiver took over Reigh's body for a moment.

He truly wanted to try the ability he had mastered the most using Reigh's body.

Not Heal, not strong elements like fire or earth, but the Wind element.

Guiver loved the Wind element because to him, Wind was extremely useful in many ways.

Right when the soldiers began slowly healing one by one,

Guiver spread his palm wide,

"Aether Pressure."

In just an instant, fairly thick Wind with a 200m radius appeared beneath Guiver's feet.

"You're like dolls..."

"You really don't excite me at all."

That wind slowly descended.

*Bwooosh. The wind compressed the air below it, like a pressing machine weighing thousands of tons.

"Booom. Slamming into anything beneath it, even soldiers clad in iron armor.

"W-What is thiiiis?!" Shouted the platoon leader who tried to resist it.

But then, *Guaaahk. That body was completely crushed. Flattening all the soldiers into the ground.

Osdeus Oark was still active. Because basically that magic wasn't bound only to the platoon leader, but had already rooted itself into the soldiers.

At the same time, their bodies began regenerating again with armor that could no longer fully form.

Within that 200-meter radius, the sound of bones grinding echoed from all directions. *Kerk.

However, their regeneration seemed pointless.

Because Aether Pressure still hadn't disappeared.

"I don't have 3 minutes to deal with you." Guiver said coldly.

Aether Pressure seemed to press hundreds of soldiers' bodies flat against the ground.

Even flesh began to spill out from the gaps of their deformed armor.

Their bodies were forced to keep regenerating.

Right as Guiver's words ended,

"GAAAAAH!"

"IT HUUUUURTS SOOO BAAAAD!"

"WHAT IS THIS?!"

Voices were heard from below.

Even though the soldiers were under the influence of Osdeus Oark, which erased pain like flesh puppets.

But now, their brains seemed overloaded from continuously nullifying pain.

The flesh growing behind the gaps in the armor felt incredibly painful.

"WAHAHAHAHA!"

"EVEN IF YOU'RE PUPPETS, YOU STILL FEEL PAIN FROM ME?!"

Looking downward.

"SCREAM IT OUT!!!"

"I TAKE BACK WHAT I SAID ABOUT HAVING NO EXCITEMENT!!!"

"RIGHT NOW..."

"THE SCREAMS OF DESPAIR FROM HUNDREDS OF PUPPETS SOUND SOOOO GOOOOD!"

"I'LL USE IT AS BACKGROUND MUSIC."

His voice slowly lowered,

"For the next performance..."

"Right?..."

Turning around.

"An ignored narcissist."
