Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: Acting? Which fanfiction mc doesn't know how to?

After a moment of intense thought, Thomas made a decision. He secretly pinched his thigh, and tears immediately streamed from his eyes: "We are not monsters, nor devils. Father Andrew, please tell my dad, okay? He always hits me, my brother, and mom. I'm scared!"

Listening to Thomas's words and looking at the young, terrified face before him, Father Andrew's expression turned serious. He looked at Tobias: "Tobias, they are your children, your blood relatives. They are not monsters, and certainly not devils, but gifts from heaven to parents. Stop using violence to harm them." His voice was old and firm: "If I ever find you abusing children again, I will call the police."

Thomas had gambled correctly; this Father was indeed a kind person. But he always felt that the Father knew their Wizard identity. Why didn't he expose it?

Tobias was not a good-tempered believer. Faced with Father Andrew's persuasion, not only did he show no remorse, but he exploded like a beast whose reverse scale had been touched.

He violently waved his hand, rudely pushing the old Father away: "Useless old man, get lost!"

Although his tone was harsh, a careful listener could easily detect the hidden weakness and fear within it.

The outwardly fierce but inwardly cowardly man cursed and swore, then quickly left the house.

Before leaving, he didn't forget to take Eileen's newly received salary.

Thomas watched his retreating back, a hint of murderous intent flashing in his heart.

Just as Thomas tried to suppress this emotion, an inexplicable chill suddenly shot up his spine. He spun around abruptly, his gaze like lightning, instantly catching the line of sight that seemed to penetrate one's heart—it was Danny.

Although Danny believed what the Father said, that Thomas and Severus were not the sons of the devil as rumored.

But deep down, he was filled with intense interest and desire for the "strange power" these two children possessed.

In his opinion, children with "magic" would undoubtedly be priceless treasures.

Thomas stared at Danny warily. He could clearly see the greed and fanaticism in Danny's eyes; this man felt a hundred times more dangerous to Thomas than Tobias!

But seemingly out of deference to Father Andrew's presence, Danny did not make any more outrageous moves. He merely scrutinized the two brothers with greedy eyes, licked his lips, and flashed Thomas a chilling smile, both lewd and full of menace.

Afterward, he politely bid farewell to Father Andrew before going to chase after Tobias, who had already walked away.

Thomas only breathed a sigh of relief after Danny had walked away, his clenched fist already soaked with sweat. In his hand, he tightly clutched a tomato seed he had just bought.

The Wood Element Ability is a healing ability, inherently without any offensive capabilities, only able to rely on Inducing mutated plants as its weapon.

However, this world does not have mutated plants, so his attack power would undoubtedly be greatly reduced.

After Danny and Tobias had gone, he disregarded Father Andrew, who had not yet left, and immediately ran to Severus's side to check on his condition.

Severus lay in Eileen's arms, his face as pale as fresh winter snow, his breathing faint, as if each breath cost him all his strength.

Despite his splitting headache, the young wizard still gritted his teeth, using all his might to stay conscious.

He was truly worried about his mother and brother; in the past, only he could protect them. Now, he feared he would become a burden to them.

Facing his enraged father, he was still so weak and helpless.

This feeling of powerlessness weighed on his heart like a giant stone, suffocating him, and the inner frustration spread rapidly like storm clouds before a tempest.

At this moment, the thought of becoming stronger consumed his entire mind; this strong desire seemed to ignite some kind of power within him.

Thomas felt a powerful energy gathering within Severus's body, causing the surrounding air to fluctuate, and even producing slight distortions. All the surrounding furniture flew into the air, as if there were an invisible vortex in the air!

"Severus, what's wrong with you? Look at me, calm down!" Thomas stroked Severus's back, trying to use his Wood Element Ability to help Severus sort out the energy that was almost bursting his body.

"Severus! Stop!"

If this continued, the young wizard's small body would simply not be able to withstand this powerful energy and would directly collapse!

"Oh my God, is this the power of a wizard?" Father Andrew, who was still there, exclaimed. He had never seen a real wizard before. If even a young child could possess such terrifying power, how powerful must a true adult wizard be?

He suddenly felt some understanding of Tobias's fear.

And Eileen, who was still crying, finally came to her senses upon hearing her son's exclamation. She scrambled to her feet and rushed into the basement: "Watch Severus!"

Eileen came out of the basement holding a leather suitcase, took out a small glass bottle containing an unknown silver-gray liquid, and poured it into Severus.

After drinking the Potion, the pained Severus finally fainted.

His condition immediately improved; his body stopped its frantic magical growth, and the volatile magic gradually became peaceful, being slowly absorbed.

Thomas plopped down on the ground next to Severus, his face pale, feeling utterly exhausted. This was due to excessive use of his ability, but he was very curious about the potion Eileen had given Severus to drink. This must be the legendary potion, he thought: "Mom, what is this?"

"This is a magic stabilizer." Eileen looked at her two weak sons, her voice trembling. A young wizard's magic outburst requires timely intervention, and this magic stabilizer was something she had made after Thomas's previous magic outburst. Unfortunately, it was already too late then.

"Is this a special medicine for Wizards?" Father Andrew's curious voice rang out.

Eileen then remembered that the Father was still there. She immediately looked at him warily: "How do you know about Wizards?" She quietly pulled her wand from the leather suitcase, preparing to cast obliviate on the old man.

Thomas watched the two confront each other, mainly Eileen being unilaterally very sensitive. Just as he was about to ease the atmosphere, a slight whooshing sound came through the air, and two men in black robes appeared out of thin air before them.

"???"

Looking at the unconscious Severus on the ground, the elder of the two looked at Eileen, who was on high alert, and said in a deep voice: "Eileen Prince, it's you again."
