Clad is by himself again, which makes him sigh as he starts walking around the city.
As he looked around, he saw people attached to dark silver chains and some getting beaten up, but he didn't know why, so he felt like getting closer to get a better view of the situation.
"I should approach them without them noticing." He thought to himself as he took a quick glance at the roof at his side and jumped onto the roof of a nearby small building. As he jumped from one building to another, he witnessed how the people were treated on the ground.
Clad took the time to look around. He noticed a woman and a child being surrounded by soldiers in a hallway
As he sees this, he starts to feel like he should really step in as he sees a family getting held by the officers, who are beating up a child in front of them.
So he jumped in and was about to help them when a woman with cat ears and bright orange hair jumped in between him and the soldiers.
"What the..." Clad thought as the orange-haired woman rushed towards the soldiers, armed with a bat, swung at them
She swiftly takes care of the officers as he looks at her fighting before she looks at him, wondering if he's part of the rat king's army, before noticing that he's not one of the soldiers of the rat king and backing off.
"Who are you? I have never seen you before." The woman said.
"I'm new here." Clad replied calmly.
