Dorothy's POV
The thought of another pack hunting me sends ice through my veins. Sure, I'm helping Joseph's pack heal, but what I'm doing isn't complicated. They just needed proper rest to let their wolves recover. Most importantly, they needed Dr. Anker to stop sabotaging their healing process.
The pieces start clicking together in my mind. Was Anker working with our enemies? Had he been deliberately weakening Joseph's pack from the inside? The only reasons that make sense are personal gain or revenge. There's no other motive to betray your own people, unless he held some deep grudge against Joseph.
"Who exactly are we discussing?" Joseph's voice cuts through my thoughts as I examine the Beta.
"What?" I glance up, confused.
