Chapter 90 - Forbidden Jutsu (90)

The Straw Hat Pirates renewed their vigor and continued to the next island. Usopp and Luffy were out doing their usual bullshit.

Zoro was swinging his sword around like no other. Sanji was gooning to Nami—not literally; he didn't have his dick out and wasn't beating that shit to Nami.

That was a low—even Sanji wouldn't go that far. He was, after all, a gentleman.

No, by "gooning," Kairo meant:

"Nami-Swan, I made you the orange juice you wanted!" He danced and twirled as he handed the drink to Nami.

"Thank you," Nami said calmly, taking the drink and sipping on it.

Sanji twirled around on his toes. He was so happy—like a dude being praised by his crush for the first time, like a dude who cracked for the first time.

"Nami-Swan complimented me, I am so happy!" Even the ocean seemed giddy. Kairo couldn't understand—come on, how could someone be so happy about such praise?

Sanji didn't naturally seem to be simpy. If Kairo were to guess, he lacked maternal love or something like that and was trying to get that from women or something.

David, meanwhile, knew it for a fact. Speaking of which, he began feeling the presence of the other soul in his body quite a lot. He didn't like that—not like he wanted to utterly dominate the other soul. No, the fact he had two souls didn't feel good.

Like, what kind of fucking buff would even come from that?

Plus, he had just finished watching or reading JJK before he died, so he knew if someone could target the soul, he was twice as likely to get hit—and he didn't like that fact. So he either had to find a way to fuse with the other soul, or they each get a different body.

Or they could reach an agreement. While he was the dominant soul, he wasn't the "original." What kind of fucking deal did he get to be stuck with another soul?

They needed to make a deal. The last thing he wanted was for the original to crash out, ruining his plan.

He paused, looking at his twitching wings, unbounding themself and spreading them. So the original was proud of the Lunarian DNA and wasn't afraid to show it.

So anytime Kairo tried to be subtle, the original self would make it blatantly obvious he was a Lunarian. What a fucking dick.

He paused—was that why his wings came out on their own when he first met the giant? Back then, he just thought he trusted them...but now that he knew the original was still there, he understood why.

He sighed. Well, there goes his plan of hiding. He sighed, feeling tired.

Oh well, none of his business.

Robin, meanwhile, could be seen looking through the book, her eyes grazing over some of the lost history of the world.

There was a chapter called The God Games.

She paused. She had never heard of such a thing before...maybe she had, but she didn't remember. [Writing it like this so that when she sees one of those human-hunting games in the manga, depending on the reaction, this is my safety net.]

Let's see— even after God Valley, they never stopped. Though if her math was correct, the most recent God Game was like a year ago.

A few months ago...though Kairo's book only had a record of the one that happened six years ago.

Well, that was to be expected. His clan got squad-wiped six years ago, so it would make sense.

She paused a bit. There were some pages in the book she couldn't see—they seemed blurry to her. Frankly, she had just recently asked for some blood from Kairo.

She sighed. Well, guess that would be it for her...

But before she could close the book, it turned by itself and landed on a page...a page talking about the Abyss.

A page talking about:

"Reanimation Jutsu"

Reanimation Jutsu (Abyssal Resurrection)

Type: Forbidden Jutsu / Kinjutsu

Category: Dark Transmutation / Necromancy

Basic Concept

This jutsu allows the user to resurrect a deceased person by summoning their soul from the Abyss. Unlike standard summoning or Devil Fruit powers, this technique requires a combination of physical DNA, a living human sacrifice, and a strong will.

The resurrected individual is animated, retains their memories, skills, and personality; however, these can be stripped away. The reanimation will be weaker than the original.

Requirements

Piece of DNA from the deceased: Can be hair, nail, blood, or any cell material. The closer the DNA is to the original, the more accurate the resurrection (appearance, skills, personality).

A living human sacrifice: The life energy of a living person is used to "anchor" the soul from the Abyss into the physical world. The sacrifice must be willingly offered or forcibly bound; otherwise, the jutsu will fail or violently backfire.

Execution Steps

Preparation

Place the DNA in a specially crafted medium (container, talisman, or symbol etched in blood).

Secure the living sacrifice in a ritualistic formation, usually inscribed with runes, Haki seals, or cursed symbols.

Optional: Draw a summoning circle that marks the connection between the Abyss, the body, and the life force.

Channel Energy

User channels their Haki and the sacrifice's life energy into the DNA, forming a spiritual bridge to the Abyss.

This bridge acts as a tether for the soul, pulling it from the Abyss into the material plane.

The DNA serves as a "template" to rebuild the physical body.

Soul Extraction

A shadowy tendril or spiritual energy reaches into the Abyss.

The soul resists or struggles; stronger souls may attempt to possess the caster or the sacrifice.

Precise control is required—too much aggression can tear the soul apart.

Physical Manifestation

The soul is anchored into the DNA vessel, forming a complete body.

The resurrected individual emerges, appearing fully alive but radiating faint corruption marks (black veins, hollow eyes, or shadow aura).

Limitations

Corruption Risk: The more times a user employs the jutsu, the more their body and mind are tainted by Abyssal energy. Early signs include red eyes, ringed pupils, sudden urges for destruction or consuming life energy, and loss of empathy or morality.

Sacrifice Dependency: Without a living human anchor, the soul cannot maintain physical form.

DNA Quality Matters: Missing or degraded DNA can result in malformed bodies, partial memory loss, or aggressive/unstable personalities.

Soul Resistance: Strong-willed individuals can resist the jutsu. Some may outright refuse to return, causing backlash.

Warnings & Consequences

"This jutsu is forbidden. Any who wield it risk their soul to the Abyss. Only in direst circumstances may it be employed, and even then... the cost is almost always the caster's own life."

The jutsu slowly erodes the user's soul, making them more Abyssal with each use. After multiple uses, the user may lose free will, becoming a vessel of the Abyss itself. Using the jutsu on multiple people at once amplifies corruption exponentially.

She paused...her gaze went to Kairo's ringed eyes. She remembered that feeling she felt when he walked by her.

Hm...

"An island," Usopp would say. This got Robin's attention. Oh well—she would address Kairo about the Abyss later.

A/N...anyway, here what i have for Kuzan.

This was written with my perception being he didn't have conqueror, I know he does now but I am far to lazy to try and rewrite his fight with Kairo, I am way past sabaody now prepping for Marine ford, I am not finna rewrite a fight which happen in the next 5 chapters.
