Chapter 14 - CHAPTER 14 — Preparing for the Harbor

Feriha and Ravihan crouched behind a stack of rusted shipping containers at the edge of the East Harbor docks. The night was thick with fog, and the distant hum of water lapping against the hulls of abandoned ships added to the eerie silence. 🛳

"This place," Feriha whispered, her voice barely audible, "it's massive. How do we even find her?"

Ravihan scanned the area through his binoculars. Shadows stretched between warehouses, cranes, and crates. "Selene knows we're coming. She's been leaving breadcrumbs to lure us here. But she's also hiding something;something big. That survivor, your sister… she's not just a pawn. She's part of a bigger plan." 🛑

Feriha clenched her fists. "We don't have time for her plans. We just need to find my sister and get out."

Ravihan nodded, but his eyes were hard. "That's why we need a strategy. Selene doesn't make mistakes. She'll expect us to rush in blindly."

He pulled out a map of the harbor, marked with red chalk where warehouses and old shipping lanes intersected. "Warehouse 9 is here," he said, pointing to a crumbling structure near the end of the pier. "It's heavily barricaded, probably with security cameras and traps. There could be more than just Selene inside;henchmen, alarms… maybe even booby traps."

Feriha swallowed, the weight of the situation pressing down on her. "So we… sneak in?"

"Exactly," Ravihan said. "We move in silently, neutralize any threats, and keep the survivor safe. No mistakes. One wrong move, and Selene wins." 🏆

Feriha looked at him, determination burning in her eyes. "I won't fail this time. I'll find my sister;even if it kills me."

Ravihan placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "We'll do it together. But remember, Selene isn't just a criminal. She's a master manipulator. She wants you to doubt yourself. Don't let her." 📌

Feriha nodded. She glanced at the survivor, whose small, frightened eyes met hers. She tightened her grip on the child's hand.

"Alright," she whispered, "let's do this. Warehouse 9 ends tonight;one way or another."

Ravihan checked his watch. "We move in ten minutes. The fog will help cover our approach, but we need to stay sharp. Selene is always one step ahead." ⌚

Feriha took a deep breath, steadying herself. The chill of the harbor, the fog, the looming warehouses;it all faded into a single focus: find her sister, confront Selene, and uncover the truth once and for all.

As the clock ticked down, Feriha felt a surge of resolve. Tonight, the shadows of her past would clash with the light of the present. And she would not back down. 🌘
