Chapter 50 - Chapter 50 — “The Taste of Forgotten Memories”

Eric, Feriha, and Ravihan tactfully invited Feriha's sister to their place... 😉

The Safehouse was quiet, the dim lights casting long shadows across the walls.

Feriha knelt beside her little sister, the small vial of golden liquid trembling in her hands.

Her sister's big eyes blinked up at her, innocent and unaware.

Feriha swallowed the lump in her throat.

"It's okay," she whispered. "I'm here. I'm Feriha… your sister."

The girl tilted her head.

"Sister?" 😲

"Yes," Feriha said softly.

"You've been through so much… Selene made you forget, didn't she? But now… we're going to bring it all back." 😑

Eric handed Feriha a small spoon.

"Give her just a few drops. Slowly."

Feriha carefully poured the potion into the spoon, her hands steadying.

The girl hesitated for a moment, then saw Feriha's face.

She nodded slowly.

"Okay," she whispered. 😔

Feriha brushed the hair from her sister's forehead.

"Drink it. You'll remember me… remember everything you lost."

The girl sipped the potion.

At first, nothing happened. But then… her eyes widened slightly, as if a fog was lifting from her mind. 😋

"Feriha?" she whispered, her voice trembling.

"Yes, it's me," Feriha said, tears streaming down her face.

"I'm your sister. You're safe now." 💯

Eric and Ravihan exchanged a glance.

It worked. The memories were returning.

But Feriha knew they couldn't let Selene discover it.

She knelt closer, holding her sister's hands.

"Selene… she mustn't know. Act as if you still don't remember her. Pretend the same as before. Promise me?" 🤞

The girl nodded solemnly, understanding the weight of the secret.

"I'll pretend," she whispered, "so she won't know I remember you."

Feriha hugged her tightly.

"We'll stay together now. No one can take you from me again." 👥

Ravihan stepped back, whispering:

"Perfect. Now, we have time to plan Selene's next move. But your sister… she's awake. She knows who you are, and that's our advantage."

Feriha looked at her sister's small face, the blue ribbon shining faintly under the Safehouse lights.

A smile broke across her lips;soft, victorious, but careful.

Selene's influence remained, but now the child's true memories were alive… hidden, protected, ready for the moment they needed to act. 🙆
