A few weeks had passed since the memorable Rave'n dance. Wednesday, Enid, and I had grown closer than before due to revealing multiverse travel. Life in Nevermore resumed to its previous ways as the students went about their business. I knew that the blood full moon is beginning soon as well as Wednesday's birthday on November 13th.
Perhaps letting her participate in vanquishing Joseph Crackstone will be the best birthday present for her. With a plan in mind, I prepare for the inevitable conclusion to this farce that has lasted since I came to Nevermore. But before all that, I have to pay a certain artist for the transgressions he committed. No one can perverse Wednesday that way...ever.
I made an excuse to Wednesday and Enid that I would be heading to town to grab some supplies and meet with the mayor and the sheriff about the evidence that was found before at the Gates Manor. The girls didn't mind at all and just focused on their own things such as Wednesday's writing time and updating Enid's blog. I gave them kisses on their cheeks before I left and Shadow Exchanged as soon as I closed the door.
My eyes shifted to an indifferent look and said, "Time to have a talk with our "tortured" artist."
With that said in mind, I relayed the order to the Shadow Knights keeping watch of Xavier.
"My King, Xavier is currently in his art studio painting another picture of Wednesday," as a Shadow Knight relayed back.
As soon as I heard the reply, my anger became more turbulent but I quickly restrained it. I will be unleashing all of that repressed anger when I meet Xavier.
"Let's hope Xavier will be stubborn about our conversation," I said as negative thoughts filled my mind.
I walked towards the forest where Xavier is held up at. It didn't take long for me to arrive at the art shack. I see that lights are on and music playing which means Xavier is still inside. I called upon the Shadow Knights to keep anyone away from the vicinity. The Shadow Knights have gathered around the art shack as well nearby trees making sure no one can disturb their king.
I walked up to the door and entered the art shack. Xavier was still concentrating on painting as he didn't notice me entering. The music blaring didn't help his case until I reached over the speaker before turning it off.
Startled, the music suddenly stopped, Xavier turned around to see my hand on the speaker. Before Xavier could say anything, I just looked at him with calm yet unsettling eyes like a volcano ready to erupt.
All that could escape Xavier's mouth was, "Why are you here?"
I slowly opened my mouth and said, "I'm here to make sure you stay away from Wednesday, Xavier. I can see the obsession in your eyes whenever you see her. Your paintings of her are a clear example of that fact. So let me give you one piece of advice: Stay away from her because nothing good will come of it for you."
Xavier was stunned by my answer but out of nowhere, he became enraged for being told to stay away from Wednesday as he yelled at me, "Why not?!! Is Wednesday yours to dictate whether or not I associate with her? Ohhhh I get it. You're afraid she'll like me and leave you, is that it, Y/N? Afraid she'll run away and fall into my arms? I never thought you'd be so insecure abo–"
Before Xavier could utter another word, I suddenly appeared in front of him punching him in the gut as he shuttled through the paintings breaking them in the process.
I slowly walked towards his downed body and grabbed him by the neck and uttered, "I didn't think you'd be stupid enough to antagonize me like that. After all, I did give you a chance and you did not take it."
I threw him over to another painting breaking it to pieces. I summoned my Shadow Chains binding him to make sure he doesn't escape.
I took out a small dagger and cut off a finger. Blood slipped out as he yelled in pain. He struggled and struggled, yet the Shadow Chains remained strong. I then made another cut along his face to ensure he remembers this pain and suffering from the mistake he made. I stabbed the knife to his left thigh and left the dagger in.
I summoned another dagger and made small cuts all across his body as if I was leaving a bloodied painting of my own. It wasn't life threatening but it did look like Xavier went through hell. The injuries he received will heal but will scar to make sure he remembers this lesson. This torture went on for a few hours before my anger subsided. I made sure he was awake and prevented him from passing out.
I stood in front of him and said in a menacing voice, "I hope you learned this lesson and abandon your thoughts about Wednesday. She is mine and will only be mine. Understood?"
Xavier with little to no energy left weakly nodded. Satisfied with my work, I unbound Xavier and told one of the Shadow Knights to leave his body by the fountain in the Quad. I'm sure news of Xavier's mangled body will spread around Nevermore. I destroyed all of Wednesday's paintings before leaving the art shack.
It was getting dark already but students were still roaming around the school. Most of them are congregated in the Quad so as Xavier's body mysteriously appeared by the fountain, many students screamed in shock at the injuries he sustained and called the faculty to help save him before he loses too much blood.
Coincidentally both Wednesday and Enid were walking by the Quad when it happened. A bit of shock filled both girls' faces when they saw it happened. They were wondering where Y/N as he was missing for a while now.
As soon as they saw Xavier bloodied, a thought came to their minds and looked at each other before heading to their dorm room to verify their conclusions. They ran all the way upstairs and slammed the door open and saw me by the balcony.
They were panting as the flights of stairs did not help as they were already running from the Quad to their room. As they got closer to Y/N, they saw blood on his hands and confirmed their thoughts.
Enid looked worried for me while Wednesday just asked, "Was that your doing, Mon Cheri?"
I turned around for them to see me with bits of blood splattered on my face and clothes and answered, "It was. I apologize for deceiving you both about heading into town but I could not hold it anymore as his perversion of you continued. I just taught him a lesson. A very painful lesson."
Enid ran back to the room to grab a damp towel to wipe my face while Wednesday looked at me and whispered in my ear, "It was a wondrous display, Mi Amor. The sight of the pure torture just sent chills all over my spine. I never knew you were so sadistic. Blood suits you well, Y/N."
Enid finally came back out and softly wiped my face to get rid of the blood and asked how I was doing. I smiled and told her I'm alright as this needed to be done.
Wednesday just said, "Thank you for doing this for me, Mon Cheri."
I replied, "You're welcome as always, Mi Cuervo. And thank you Enid for cleaning me up. I'll go shower soon."
I kissed Enid before kissing Wednesday and then headed to the shower.
I asked, "Care to join me?" before heading inside the shower.
Both Wednesday and Enid just looked at each other before sprinting inside following me. An hour passed by before coming out of the shower. Plenty of soapy scenes happened and I will leave it up to your imaginations to fill that gap in your heads.
We just kept each other's company and talked more about what happened to Xavier. I explained to them I went to confront him in his art shack to stop painting more of Wednesday and to stay away as it was perverting her.
He then taunted me for being insecure and about Wednesday leaving me to come to Xavier to which he got a punch to the gut. I then started my torture from there. While Enid was a little scared about my method of torture, Wednesday was relishing in the details as her smile became more noticeable as I went on.
I then explained to them I had one of the Shadow Knights leave him by the fountain, in which they witnessed. It was to prove a point to not cross me nor Wednesday or Enid. My explanation ended as Wednesday and Enid knew the rest when they found me.
Wednesday said, "It was a shame I couldn't see the process but your description was vivid enough for me to enjoy."
Enid chimed in and hugged my arm, "He deserved it since he was acting like that. I'm so glad you didn't get hurt, Y/N."
I appreciated their concern for me and told them I would take care of them and be responsible to them. We continued talking about our future adventures as night took over Nevermore.
The blood moon is slowly approaching the horizon as a shadow looms over Nevermore.
