Umbra fell from his tower. He was no longer human. He was a creature of living darkness and hunger.
He ran into the cities. He did not bind Aspects anymore. He Devoured them. He ate a man who had bound a Sword Aspect. Umbra's arm turned into a blade. He ate a woman who had bound a Flower Aspect. Umbra's skin bloomed with poisonous thorns.
He was the first Demonic Cultivator.
The other Monarchs woke up. "Treason!" Ignis roared (without passion). "Abomination!" Vita cried.
The War of the Monarchs began. They left their towers to hunt Umbra. But when they left their towers, the Seal weakened.
Under the earth, Ren opened one eye. The eye was violet.
"Hungry..."
The age of Order ended. The Age of Chaos began.
