Chapter 2
Annie: OMG! ( She gasped, falling to her knees on the bed) It's D-Day already? I'm not ready for this!( She groaned, running both hands through her tangled hair)
Cherry: (Folds her arm and scoffs) You've got be kidding me! After all that shopping and everything you did yesterday,you forget you've got school today? Who does that?
Annie: I'm not ready for your nasty questions (She got down from her bed pacing round the room) Let me have my bath first ( She said,grabbed her towel and went into the bathroom)
Cherry: (Shook her head and left Annie's room to join Rose in the Kitchen) Mom, you can't believe Annie forgot she's going to school today ( She laughs)
Rose: (smiling) Don't mind her. She I'll get used to the school soon enough, Breakfast's ready,come on let's take these to the dining table ( She said, picking up a few plates and handing them to Cherry)
Annie: (She already had her bath and dressed up, she took her bagpack and left her room heading towards the dining) Good morning Mom and Dad ( She greeted Robert and Rose who were already eating)
Robert/Rose : Morning Darling (both smiling)
Annie: (She drew the dining chair opposite Cherry and sat down) Wow! My favorite meal, pancake(She took it and started eating)
Robert: You're supposed to get your uniform today
Annie: Probably (she mumbled, not looking up from her food)
Rose: (still eating) You're gonna meet some new friends today,so try to be nice, okay?
Annie: If they choose to be nice to me ( She replied with a grin) Dad,thanks for all the shopping yesterday, l had so much fun
Cherry: Sure you did,You had so much fun it went straight to your head and made you forget about today ( She said sarcastically, grabbing the glass of water next to her and drinking it all)
Annie: ( shooting her a mean looks) Cherry don't get in my nerves. it's way to early for that( She said, standing up right after)
Rose: You done eating?
Annie: Yeah,l don't wanna consume too much ' cause l don't want to feel heavy.
Rose: ( She stood up to get their lunch box and handed it to both Annie and Cherry)
Robert: Are you all set? (He stood up, adjusting his wrist watch)
Cherry: Yeah,(She stood up, holding her lunch box)
Annie: (She went over to her Mom and hugged her) Mom, I'm feeling nervous (She said whispering to Rose)
Rose: It's okay to feel nervous, it's your first day at a new school (She said, gently patting her on her back before pulling away from the hug then Annie gave her a quick peck on her cheek and Cherry did the same) Take care Honey ( she said to Robert with a smile)
Robert: Take care,l love you (he said, pulling her into a hug,They all headed out to the packing lot, where Robert chose the Rolls-Royce Phantom Car, Everyone got in expect Rose who stood waving as Robert drove out of the driveway)
Annie: (She stepped out of her Dad's car as he drove off) Well, Here l am (She said, gazing up at the school building) Not bad at all, it's huge and really beautiful, even from the outside (Her eyes wandered over the students passing by in their neat uniforms) Nice Uniforms,and... Whoa! these kids are way too early, I thought l was on time, am l, like already late or what? (She slips her hand into her jeans pocket to grab her phone,but beftshe can pull it out, someone crashes into her from behind, making her phone fall to the ground) Hey! (She shouts) Didn't you see me standing here?!!
Jethro: (Still running, glances back with a grin) My bad! Sorry,new girl! (He laughs and take off again to catch up with his friends)
Annie: (picks up her phone,rolling her eyes) Great.First day of school and people are already getting on my nerves.(She says loud enough for others to stare at her weirdly) Ugh! Dad totally made a mistake sending me here. (She mutters, shoving her phone in her pocket and walking off towards the school entrance.
Ms.Jess: Are you Anniebell Dawson?(try to get a full sight of Annie)
Annie: OMG! Did someone just call my name? Wait, how would anyone even know me already? I literally just got here! Don't tell me I'm already getting popular?(She said to her self blushing then turned slowly to see who called her) Who is she? She doesn't look a student (she thought to herself)
Ms. Jess: (She moved closer to Annie) Are you Anniebell Dawson who got scholarship into this school?
Annie: (nervous) Yes Ma'am. I'm Anniebell Dawson and you are...?
Ms.Jess: Oh! I should introduce myself, I'm Jessica Simpson your classroom teacher. Knew it'd be you,(she said with a gentle smile) Welcome to Diamond High School,Let me take you to your class (she turned and started walking ahead, motioning for Annie to follow)
Annie: (Walking down the hallway,she couldn't stop looking around,her mouth slightly open in amazement, taking in every details, the shiny floors, colorful lockers,the walls were painted on the soft pastel colors, with glowing lights reflecting off the spotless floors) Okay,this place is way too nice to be a school(she thought with a small grin)
Ms.Jess: This is your Classroom,(Ms.Jess said, stopping Infront of a glass-paneled hallway on the right wing of the second floor)
Annie: You.... mean this my class? (She asked with her eyes wide open)
Ms. Jess: Yes,is there a problem? (She asked, fixing her gaze at Annie)
Annie: No, No, I mean it so beautiful, it as large as my living room and..it too silent for a class, are there students in there? (She said stretching to take a look inside)
Ms.Jess: (Smiles) Follow me( She took out her ID card and tapped it on the access scanner beside the door. The door slide open with a soft beep) You'll get your own ID soon, so you can access your classroom (she said, stepping inside)
Annie: Okay Ma'am (she replied quickly)
Ms. Jess: Good Morning, everyone (she said brightly)
Students: Good Morning Ms.Jess (they all chroused)
Ms.Jess: We have a transfer student joining us( she faced Annie next to her) Say hi
Annie: (Smiling brightly) Hello, My name is Anniebell Dawson...To be Continued
