Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 – Taijutsu Genius

Since the battle had fully ignited, Might Guy wasn't planning to intervene any further.

At worst, he could step in himself if anything went wrong.

Instead, Might Guy was very interested in Yasu.

From observing with his own eyes, Yasu's chakra level seemed no different from an ordinary person—but if Kakashi said he was a genius, there had to be something extraordinary about him.

And then there was the match against Kakashi.

Although Kakashi had run off earlier, Yasu staying behind meant he would be the one to spar in Kakashi's stead.

If Neji Hyuga won, he could brag about it in front of Kakashi. But if Yasu won, it would be as if nothing happened.

After all, there was no one else around.

Thinking this, Might Guy's face broke into a mischievous grin.

"Okay, you two can spar—but keep it light! I don't want anyone getting hurt!"

Neji's mouth curved slightly at Might Guy's approval.

Yasu's body had already been scanned by Neji's Byakugan, confirming he was just an ordinary person. Some ordinary people even had more chakra than him.

Even if Kakashi called him a "genius," he hadn't grown enough to deserve the title.

As for a monster like Rock Lee… Neji didn't even consider that possibility.

After all, someone like Rock Lee could never be replicated.

"Come on, you go first. I'm afraid if I attack first, you won't have a chance to move," Neji said, a smug smile curling his lips as he lifted his right hand in a subtle beckon.

"All right, I won't hold back!"

The moment Yasu spoke, he vanished from his original spot.

Before Neji could react, Yasu appeared right in front of him.

"This…!"

Might Guy stared in disbelief.

Yasu's speed had reached an unimaginable level, almost matching an elite jonin.

Such speed was impossible for an ordinary jonin, let alone a twelve-year-old kid.

"So this is the genius Kakashi was talking about…"

However, after appearing in front of Neji, Yasu didn't attack. Instead, he lightly tapped Neji on the forehead with a finger.

"Done. I've made my move. Do you want to continue?"

Neji's body trembled, and he didn't notice when his back became soaked with sweat.

In real combat, that single strike would have been fatal.

But Neji still had his trump cards, and surrendering immediately was out of the question.

He quickly created distance and activated his Byakugan, eyes fixed intently on every move Yasu made.

"Earlier was merely a warm-up. Let's try again!"

Tenten rolled her eyes, never realizing Neji could be so shameless.

Although she had a strange fondness for Yasu, and he had given her such rare ninja tools, she couldn't bear to see Neji lose.

After a year of interacting with him, she understood his pride and unyielding nature.

If Neji lost to Yasu now, he might never recover.

"Guy-sensei, who do you think will win?"

Might Guy's eyes became serious, then he smiled faintly.

"Should be Neji."

Might Guy wasn't blindly taking sides; after a year of observing, he knew Neji's true abilities.

If Yasu had knocked him down in that first strike, the match would have ended immediately.

But Yasu hadn't done that. He even gave Neji a chance.

Since the Uchiha clan's decline, the Byakugan was undoubtedly Konoha's strongest ocular jutsu.

It allowed a 360-degree, unobstructed view of the battlefield. No matter which direction Yasu attacked from, Neji could respond immediately.

Though Neji was from a branch family and a Byakugan had a minor flaw, which is a small blind spot located at the third upper-thoracic vertebrae on their back. It was negligible in this battle due to his mastery of the Gentle Fist fighting style, which allowed him to compensate for it.

And Yasu's chakra was on par with a normal person—he couldn't even perform a single ninjutsu. His only reliable attacks came from fists and feet.

All possibilities were eliminated.

"Yasu may be a genius, but he's a genius who hasn't fully matured yet. Overconfidence aside, it's better for him to lose now than to lose against a real enemy later!"

"Guy-sensei, can Yasu really defeat Neji with just taijutsu?" Rock Lee asked earnestly.

Though he addressed Yasu, Might Guy knew Lee was asking about himself.

Although Might Guy wanted to say yes, the Byakugan was a taijutsu counter, making it nearly impossible for Lee to defeat Neji.

"Lee, if you keep training, one day you will definitely surpass Neji!"

Neji, now more confident with his Byakugan activated, assumed the opening stance of Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms. If Yasu entered the attack range, he would be struck by a storm of palm strikes.

Yasu stood within the attack range, outwardly calm, while his mind calculated constantly.

The Sixty-Four Palms could strike sixty-four times in an extremely short interval. Even a single hit disrupted the victim's chakra flow, making it nearly impossible to defend against the remaining attacks.

Being hit once would almost guarantee his defeat.

"I wonder if my speed is enough…"

Suddenly, Yasu vanished, reappearing directly behind Neji.

Neji didn't panic; instead, a confident smirk appeared on his lips.

"Gotcha!"

Neji spun around instantly, striking backward with a palm… but the blow felt like it hit air.

"A clone? No, the afterimage from incredible speed!"

Might Guy stepped forward in shock, eyes wide.

Though reluctant to admit it, Yasu's speed had caught up to elite jonins—and might even surpass it slightly.

"How is this possible? He's only twelve! Could he be the next Uchiha Shisui?"

Might Guy's fists trembled with excitement.

Twelve years old and moving at such speed—if Yasu continued to grow, he could become a legendary taijutsu expert.

Even a taijutsu master.

He could elevate taijutsu to an unimaginable level and bring Konoha's leadership to take taijutsu seriously.

At this moment, Yasu was no longer just a twelve-year-old in Might Guy's eyes—he was Konoha's future of taijutsu!

[Ding! Might Guy affection +3! Current: 78 points!]

Yasu paused briefly. Though unsure why Might Guy's affection had jumped, there was no time to dwell on it.

Yasu reappeared beside Neji, kicking directly at his lower body.

Seeing this move, Might Guy trembled again, even more exaggerated than before.

"How does he know this technique?!"
