Heat crept up my neck as Dr. Trina asked her question, making me suddenly self-conscious. "Last night was actually my first time," I admitted, the words feeling foreign on my tongue. But Dr. Trina's expression remained professional and warm, offering me a reassuring nod instead of judgment.
"That's a significant milestone," she said gently. "How are you processing everything?"
I chewed my bottom lip, considering her question. "To be honest? It felt liberating in a way. But also incredibly intense."
"Those feelings are perfectly natural." She settled back in her chair, her posture relaxed and welcoming. "Your body is adapting, and it's normal for emotions to fluctuate. I'd like to discuss contraceptive choices so you can make educated decisions moving forward."
