Chapter 39 - Volume 40 (Chapter 40)

My Girlfriend Is Stronger Than the Demon Lord – Volume 40 (Chapter 40)

The demon realm had been quiet for only a few days when an unnatural chill swept across the lands.

"Eren," Aria said, holding my hand tightly as we observed the horizon, "this isn't a local threat… it's coming from another realm entirely. A new enemy is crossing dimensions."

I gulped. "Another realm? You mean… humans aren't the only ones in danger?"

Her cheeks flushed faintly. "Exactly. If this invader succeeds, it could destroy not only the demon realm but the human world as well. And Eren… we'll have to fight together, stronger than ever."

Before we could plan, Gorvath burst in, visibly shaken.

"My Lady! Rifts have appeared along the borders! Creatures from an unknown realm are pouring through, and magic is destabilizing in every direction!"

Aria's eyes narrowed. "Eren… this is unprecedented. It's not just a test of power—it's strategy, diplomacy, and endurance. Are you ready?"

I gripped her hand tightly. "Always. We face it together."

By nightfall, the invaders appeared: towering, otherworldly beings with unpredictable magic and weapons that distorted reality. Their leader, a dark figure with glowing eyes, radiated an aura that seemed to absorb Aria's own power.

"Battle Goddess Aria," the figure intoned, "your victories end here. Your realm and your world will fall."

Aria raised her staff, aura blazing brilliantly. "Eren… watch closely. True strength isn't just defeating enemies—it's protecting everything you care about, and staying true to your heart."

The battle erupted. Spells collided across realms, the sky burned with magic, and reality itself trembled. Aria moved with perfect precision, restraining attacks, stabilizing rifts, and protecting both realms without unnecessary destruction.

I whispered, awe-struck, "She's… controlling all of this… at once?"

Aria glanced at me, faint smile on her face. "Eren… chaos doesn't matter when we face it together. Every challenge is lighter with you by my side."

Step by step, she dismantled the invaders' strategies, sealing the rifts and forcing the enemy to retreat.

I held her hand tightly. "You're incredible."

She leaned against me, aura glowing softly. "Because, Eren… no matter the enemy or the realm, we face it together."

Once more, both the demon realm and the human world were safe—not through brute force, but through Aria's unmatched power, wisdom, and heart, with me by her side.
