Chapter 15 - I wanna fight too

Sunny frowned, angrily shouting, "Why? AGH!!! You damned System, are you messing with me?"

Suddenly, his eyes widened and he muttered to himself.

"Wait a minute. If I can't sell it, maybe he can't either."

Sunny thought of Rover.

"Maybe this is the System's restriction. Only the person who owns the paper can read the information on it. Even if he sells it to someone else, he might not be able to trade it for anything better than the Door Upgrade Blueprint."

Sunny let out a long, relieved sigh, then decided to head out. Hiding in the room forever was not the right choice anyway.

He had already read the [Survival Guide], and he knew very well that this was the time he needed to go out, gather supplies, and look for something useful.

"Wait!"

A bold idea suddenly flashed through Sunny's mind and he muttered, "What if I use my own mouth to sell the information?"

He started laughing in delight. He did not believe the System could restrict his mouth as well.

So he decided to head out and look for suitable targets to sell information to.

Somewhere else.

A tall man and a beautiful woman were standing side by side.

The man had a large, muscular build. The woman had tanned skin, blonde hair, a hot figure, and a rather beautiful face that seemed to be covered by a thin layer of cold mist.

"Looks like the information that young man gave us was correct."

Yes, he was Dokai, the one who had led the other Survivors in holding back the zombies.

The woman also nodded and said, "The information is accurate, which means defending outside the rooms is not the best way."

Dokai nodded and let out a sigh. "You are right, but without us, what would happen to these people?"

The woman glanced at the survivors sitting in the hallway and inside the rooms, her thoughts unclear.

"Millan, get in touch with Rover and ask if he is willing to join us."

"Why?" Millan frowned when she heard the strange request from Dokai.

Dokai smiled and said, "He can sell information, which means he can also easily defend himself against the zombies. This is the time when we need to unite and build a strong frontline for humanity."

"If he joins us, I believe our strength will increase, and it will be easier for us to defend against monster attacks."

Hearing that, Millan said, "And if he refuses?"

Dokai shook his head. "The greater the power, the greater the responsibility. If he refuses, then tell him I want to meet him in person. I will convince him."

Millan let out a soft sigh and replied, "Fine. I will try."

Dokai nodded lightly at that, his eyes filled with determination and a terrifying fighting spirit as he looked at the remaining survivors.

In another room.

A short-haired platinum blonde girl sat in a wheelchair, her brows tightly furrowed as she murmured, "So the [Survival Guide] really exists. But in my current condition, I can't go out there and fight over supplies with everyone else."

She sighed, her gaze dropping to her long, slender, beautiful legs that were rather thin from not having moved in a long time, and she could not help feeling a little frustrated.

"If this keeps up, it will not do. I need to cooperate with someone."

She frowned in thought.

"I have a Defense Tower and can kill zombies, so… recruiting people to live with me as 'Tenants' should work."

Danny stepped out of his room with a large knife in hand, glancing around with a crazed grin on his face. "Hahaha… just like the [Survival Guide] said, now is probably the time for me to go look for supplies."

"Danny! You… you dare to leave your room?"

At that moment, a man's voice rang out.

Danny turned his head and saw a man holding a baseball bat, his face filled with hatred.

"Huh?! Who the hell are you?"

Hearing that, the man shouted furiously, "It was you… you are the one who killed my younger brother!"

"Ah! So you are that trash bastard's older brother, huh?" Danny laughed scornfully. "You want to avenge that useless piece of shit? Do you really think you can? I doubt you can even hold that bat properly."

"You bastard!"

The young man charged at Danny with the baseball bat in hand, swinging it down toward his head.

Danny did not dodge at all. On the contrary, he rushed straight at the young man with incredible speed.

"What?!"

"Idiot!" Danny spat, the smile on his face turning even more deranged.

Danny grabbed the wrist of the arm holding the bat with precise timing, startling the young man.

Danny's hand holding the knife plunged toward the young man's abdomen.

SMASH!

"AGHH!!!"

Feeling the cold blade stabbing into his stomach, the young man screamed in pain.

Danny did not stop. He immediately pulled the knife out and slashed at the young man's neck.

A cut appeared and fresh blood gushed out like a fountain.

The young man clutched at the wound on his neck with both hands, his eyes filled with disbelief as he stared at Danny.

Then…

Thud!

He collapsed to the floor, dead.

Beside him, a few silver coins and some food appeared.

Danny let out a cruel smile. "Hahahaha… looks like I don't even need to go looking for supplies. I just have to wait for these idiots to gather supplies for me, and then…"

The smile on his face grew even more vicious and icy, like a demon crawling out of hell.

BAM! BAM! BAM!

"Is anyone in there?!"

"Damn it! This bastard's door is metal. He definitely has a ton of resources inside."

"Everyone, let's work together and break this door down. We'll split everything inside equally."

"Wait! Is this really okay?"

"Do you seriously have time to ask that right now?"

"If we don't have supplies, if we don't have food, will you still feel 'okay'?"

"Open the door!"

BAM! BAM! BAM!

The noise from outside woke Rover up. He frowned, his gaze toward the door full of impatience.

Even though he was still tired, he knew exactly what was going on.

The survivors had probably noticed that his door was completely different from theirs and assumed he had a lot of resources, so now they wanted to rob him.

In fact, Rover's guess was not wrong. When those people had passed this floor, they had noticed the existence of a gleaming reinforced door among all the shabby wooden ones.

They had started contacting each other once the Zombie Raid event ended, regrouped, and now planned to take his room.

Rover glanced at the System notification panel, feeling even more annoyed.

[You have completed 6 hours of sleep. Please complete the remaining 2 hours of sleep to receive Omni Points.]

[Nanoe has successfully joined your Harem. Shared sleep count today: 1/1.]

[Lust: 20% (Increases Omni Points gained after each time you have sex by 20%).]

[Total Omni Points obtained: + 105.5 | Total current Omni Points: 111.5 Points.]

Rover clicked his tongue, picked up the gun with only 3 bullets left, and did not feel nervous at all.

Before the event ended, he had gone out and killed a lot of zombies. Although he had [Reclaimed] many zombie corpses and gained quite a lot of Omni Points, the cost of bullets was also high.

But now things were different.

After sleeping with Nanoe, he had gained more than 100 Omni Points, and he thought to himself, 'Looks like… this class really does want me to gather women so I can develop more easily.'

BAM! BAM! BAM!

"Open the door! If you don't open it, we'll break it down!"

"Yeah! We've got weapons. If you don't open the door and hand over all your supplies, we'll smash the door down and cut you to pieces!"

"You should open up. Don't be so selfish. Right now, we need to unite. If you open the door and hand over all your supplies, we can divide everything fairly and leave you a share."

Rover listened to the people outside and let out a scornful laugh. He did not want to accumulate too many "Blood Marks", since that would make the zombies in the next wave focus their attacks on him.

But… if these people were stupid enough to come to him, he was not about to just sit still.

"System, buy 7 bullets."

[Purchased 7 bullets. Total cost: 35 points | Remaining Omni Points: 76.5 Points.]

There were now 10 bullets in the gun, more than enough for him.

Rover suddenly realized Nanoe was already awake and watching him intently.

He kissed her cheek lightly and said with a smile, "Don't worry, I will…"

Nanoe suddenly grabbed his hand and said firmly, "Let me."

"Hm?! You mean…"

"I wanna fight too."

Hearing that, he smirked, placed the cold handgun in her hand, and said with a smile, "Good. I trust you."
