Aisling opens her eyes to see a bright violet sky above her. She hears a familiar voice "Please complete task, break free from (Not available) using only your new body" "No time limit" "Now introducing rewards and penalties."
The voice continued "Reward faster growth, open status panel and plus one to all stats" "Penalties slower growth status panel locked and negative stats."
As soon as the voice finishes before she even gets to ask it any questions. She suddenly feels like she is being torn in two. She looks down to see a vast forest beneath her, her body crashes down towards the forest floor. Before she knows it, she sees a blue and purplish egg, and her body is heading towards it.
She blinks "that egg isn't broken?" She looks around to figure out her surroundings, but she quickly realizes she cannot see. As she focuses on her other senses, her hearing, touch, and her smell. She hears numerous other beasts in the forest; she reaches out what she thought to be her hand. She was wrong, very wrong, she has paws now.
She continues to reach out to feel a soft yet hard barrier around her. "I am guessing this egg is what I must break out of." She wriggles around to try to break the eggshell. The sounds of the forest grow louder as cracks form in front of her face letting a warm heat in from the forest.
Aisling moves increasingly "Finally I am getting somewhere!" hearing a big crack as she smells more of the forest through my nose. I am FINALLY FREE! She says in her head as she hears a small howl from her throat.
"You have completed the task break free from (the egg) using only your new body." Reward faster growth, open status panel, and plus one to all stats."
"Alright! Open status window!" she says, the window opening but she soon stops in that moment as she senses a huge presence at least ten times her size.
The next moment she feels a tongue on her cheek, "Is it my mother or father?" Her body instinctively untenses as she feels a cold nose touch her forehead. "Little Chimera is, okay?" A voice says. She can feel herself purring whining in response. "I'm okay." Aisling replies.
"Now time to feed." The voice responds as she feels herself getting picked up by the scruff of her neck. This feels nice, she says to herself as she falls asleep.
Time passed feeling like a year has passed. In that time, she has gotten used to her oversized paws, tiny wings, her big feeling head, and her eyesight returned. Her parent has never left her side in the meantime.
She was what you see in a typical Chimera a head and front part of a lion, another head this is a goat in the middle of her back with dragon wings and a tail with a snake's head. These past few months she has not seen her breath fire, but she has such an intimating aura that she wouldn't need it.
She also found that she didn't have to shout open status window. She could just think about it, and it happened. The window showed her status, but it didn't show health or mana in points it just showed her status if she was in good health, and fatigue. It showed how strong, fast, and some skills. Going through the skills most happened automatically, if she raised her paws in a certain way, she could cut something. She tried to access her magic, but the alert kept saying for other self only. She guessed its of not important right now.
Her parent let out a little growl.
Her parent leans over "Little Chimera, it is time."
"Time for what?" She gave a little whine in response.
"For you to hunt." She said pushing her off a small cliff.
Her mother grew smaller as she fell closer to the ground, the familiar ding rings in her ears.
"Complete task, one of two your first hunt: Defeat any monster, reward level up, plus one status points to all stats, and fear resistance. Penalty negative status points, fear inflicted."
"Complete task, two of two your first hunt: Survive in the deep part of the forest for five days, reward: Forest survivor title, plus three stat points towards all stats. penalty: Stats and abilities locked, and near-death status inflicted."
"This again." she says as she lands on her back with a thud.
