After class she knew it, he was gone and this time she tries to catch up with him and try to ask him what she did wrong, but she was too late by the time she reaches the corridor he was out of sight and that was when she made up her mind to let him be, to think he was literally the first man she try to trust, to open up to but she was met with disappointment. 'what's wrong with that guy, I mean if he doesn't like her, he could just say so she won't murder him.' she thought.
A while later her phone rang and it was her dad. "Yes Dad?"
"What's wrong my child?"
"Nothing just school and stuff."
"How was your day princess?"
"Don't start now Dad, I know you have people watching me like some treasure." she said and silent follow from the other end then he grins before speaking.
" That's my baby girl, you know you are daddy's very own treasure, but I would love to know what my daughter's heart holds."
"Please don't start with your drama now what do you want?"
"You know me all too well. I want to see you today come to my office after class, ok?"
"Okay, I will."
"Aren't you going to tell daddy about your day?"
"Fine, class was boring and I'm constantly tired... and I see no logical reason you force me into that class anyway."
"I have my reasons you know I only want what's best for you darling and I get to boast about you to my colleagues."
" I can't believe you."
AT THE OFFICE
It didn't take long for Lorine to reach in her dad's office. " Why am I here dad?"
"I wanted to see you love."
"Are you serious right now?"
"Of course, I am." Just as Lorine was about to say something someone knock the door.
"Come in."
"Hello boss you send for me?" A man dress in all black walked in as he spoke and the moment his eyes landed on Lorine's he was in shock and so was she, her eyes begin to blink several times as her heartbeat faster.
