"You're finally scared of me," he said with a sly smile. And he actually seemed pleased that he had scared me.
"I-I'll sue you! Go ahead!" I pointed at him, trying to sound fierce. He just laughed and grabbed my hand.
"And do you really think anyone would believe you?" he asked playfully.
"Maybe you forgot—"
"You're Solar Elizalde… but you're an impostor," he said, laughing as he stepped closer. I had to take a small step back. "You know who I am, right? Lake Bautista, one of the wealthiest siblings in the Philippines. And we could crush you in just one snap, Solar. Do you really think you can take me on?"
"Why are you doing this?!" I yanked my hand away from him, furious. "Isn't it enough that my life has been miserable because of you? Do you really have to threaten my life too?!"
"I've never seen you this angry," he said, deadpan. I immediately smacked him with a pillow.
