Note: this novel is written in the point of view of the female lead, Alice Bennett.
Ding! ding! ding! , the alarm ringed continuously in my ears, forcing me to wake up from my sleep.
"Sh*t, I am getting late for school ", I said as I jumped up from my bed. "I can't be late for school in my first day. ".
I wonder how people will treat me like, a poor orphanage who managed to get an fully funded scholarship into one of the greatest schools in the world. I will probably be the only new student in second year with that type of poor home background.
I stood up and went to my bathroom and brushed my teeth and had my bath, I went to my mirror and coned my messy long blonde hair.
"I really do look pretty ", I said with an bright smile.
As I looked at my face in the mirror, I have long blonde hairs, brown eyes, ponytails, average height. I wore a white t_shirt, black jean jacket on top and black jeans, I just dressed casual and left my hotel room.
I was lucky to find a taxi on time, the driver was a man wearing black outfit and a face cap.
"Where are you heading to. ", he asked politely.
"Witmore college. ", I replied.
"That's going to be ten dollars. "
"Ok just take me there. "

Finally, I got to the school. It was as big as a city on it's own, coloured blue and white, fields around the area, car packs and people or students rather walking around, doing their regular things. Every single kid apart from me, came to school on their own fancy and expensive car.
This is witmore academy, a school which every child dreams of attending, which holds great promises. I was supposed to be happy, or celebrating for this opportunity of going to the every child's dream school, but I felt different, will I be rejected, will I be ever able to fit in. All those thoughts in my head.
I walked into the school slowly, trying to locate the office to do my check in, which seems really impossible.
Biting my lips, I said "hi. ", to a girl in blue grown, pressing her phone. At of everyone there, she was the most easily approachable looking person.
"Heyy, do you need anything. ", she asked politely with an friendly laugh.
The girl had poppy eyes, short purple hair, tall.
I explained to her that I was a new student in witmore college, who transfered from another school in the second year.
"Oh, follow me. ", she commanded.
"Thanks. " I replied as we walked together quickly.
I was just too nervous to say anything anymore, at least I am grateful that she agreed to help, showing me around the school environment.
"The name is Cai. ", she said after a while breaking the silence.
"I'm Alice. ", I replied.
"So what is your field of study. ".
"Medicine. "
"That's great, I am in the art department. ", Cai said with an saddened look. "So we ain't going to be seeing each other often. ".
"We can always contact each other. ", I reasoned out, even if I don't truly care if we talk or not.
"Yeah that's true, but do you even have anyone to hung out with? ".
I have been thinking about this for a while now. I don't know anyone, and I am really bad when it comes to making friends.
Suddenly I noticed that, everyone was gathering in a setting area.
"What's going on. ", I asked with an every curious look.
"You still have a lot to learn here. ", Cai said looking at me with worried eyes. "I hope you don't learn things the hard way. "
