Chapter 66 - Chapter 66 New Dungeon: Elysium

Back in town, life was much the same as usual. Yin Xiu would wake up, tidy up, and then take his fishing rod to the lake to pass the time, waiting for the prison instance three days later.

The town has changed quite a bit. Normally, players would dodge and avoid him at lightning speed, not daring to associate with him at all. But now, when he passes by the square, people's gazes become incredibly eager and attentive, and even the announcements over the loudspeaker have changed.

"As long as you follow the rules in this small town, nothing will happen to you. Learn from the experienced people around you, listen carefully to their advice, and you will be able to avoid danger and become big shots in no time."

"Here, I sincerely suggest that everyone take Yin Xiu as their goal and strive to become like him. In the future, no dungeon will be difficult. If one person becomes a master, the whole town can become a master. This will be passed down from generation to generation, and one day no one in our town will die because of monsters."

The monster in the corner cursed loudly, "What bad luck!"

Even after Yin Xiu left, the loudspeaker continued to tirelessly educate the newcomers with these words.

Yin Xiu arrived at the lakeside expressionlessly, preparing his fishing gear to catch the fish he couldn't catch.

Suddenly, he remembered that when Li Mo first came, he seemed to have gone down into the lake to catch fish and eat them. Then he stared at the lake for a long time, and the monsters in the lake were also frightened for a long time. It wasn't until Yin Xiu finally gave up going into the water to catch fish and continued to fish normally that the monsters in the lake were relieved.

When absolutely necessary, they will try their best to pretend they are fish.

Yin Xiu's days were very uneventful, with little difference between each day.

Days passed by uneventfully, and time flew by. Three days later, Ye Tianxuan came to his room, and the two of them were pulled into the instance together.

When the time came, a new room appeared on the screen in the square, displaying the information of both players.

[Congratulations, player, on entering the dungeon: Elysium City]

Player names in this game: Yin Xiu, Ye Tianxuan

Gender: Male

Residence: 401 & 103, Hutong A, 35-Dimensional Town

Assets held in duplicate: 331, 1551111

Dungeon progress: All dungeons completed, 98% complete.

The entire town was excited as they looked at the information displayed on the screen.

Needless to say, they would definitely watch Yin Xiu enter the dungeon a second time, and they would definitely watch Ye Tianxuan enter the dungeon a hundredfold. Someone had to record the strategy. But when the two of them entered the dungeon together, would anyone in the town dare not watch? They rushed in for the first time.

When Yin Xiu's message was transmitted back into the instance, the ferocious monsters that had once crushed the players inside the instance wept bitterly.

"He's here! He's here!! And he even brought Ye Tianxuan with him!!"

"He felt he wasn't satisfied with killing on his own, so he brought his accomplices along."

"I'm doomed, waaaaah..."

"Is it too late for me to apply for a replacement copy?"

"Don't leave! We're all in the same instance, if we die, we die together!!"

"You're all going to die here today! Nobody's allowed to leave!"

"By the way... what does the warden think?"

"His motto is simply: 'Just get by.'"

"That's it. The monsters from other dungeons don't want to come. The new monsters have been terrified of Yin Xiu. No dungeon boss will dare to come if they hear it's Yin Xiu. This time, even the warden won't be able to escape."

"Has the 'Do Not Harm Monsters' rule been approved?"

"It was rejected."

"Don't be afraid. This dungeon mode is very difficult. In order to suppress Yin Xiu, we have applied for special player restrictions. I feel that we still have a chance to survive. Keep going, everyone!"

"mutual encouragement."

Amidst the sobbing and wailing of ghosts, the dungeon officially began.

The black screen flashed and gradually displayed an image.

In the cold, solitary cell, dim light shone on Yin Xiu's fair face. The wind blew in through the narrow iron-barred window, ruffling his hair. The person in the scene was asleep with his eyes closed, quiet and serene, a sight that was incredibly pleasing to the eye.

The next second, Yin Xiu opened his eyes with a whoosh, his dark pupils filled with indifference, which complemented the gloomy environment perfectly.

His gaze quickly swept around him, and he found himself leaning against a simple, thin single bed. It was extremely quiet around him, and there was no one else around. There wasn't even a notification from the instance this time.

"They're in?" Yin Xiu muttered as he got up, but as soon as he moved, he suddenly realized that something was wrong with him.

His hands were handcuffed with a pair of black handcuffs, which were very secure and locked tightly around his wrists. The chain in the middle was of moderate length, which did not allow for much movement. His clothes had been changed to black and white prison uniforms, and there was nothing superfluous on them, including the knife at his waist.

Yin Xiu frowned. This was indeed the first time he had encountered a dungeon that would confiscate his weapons, restrict his movement, and even take away his items. It was as if they had absolutely no intention of letting him fight.

He quickly got up and searched the room.

This place truly resembles a solitary prison cell. Everything is for one person only, and there are no weapons that could cause harm. There are plastic cups, wooden toothbrushes, square towels, and even the corners of the walls are rounded more than usual.

Yin Xiu coldly searched around and found the familiar rule sheet under the pillow, but it only had two sentences on it.

[Paradise is free; once you enter, no one will restrict you, so there are no rules.]

[Dungeon completion conditions: Leave Elysium while unrestrained and conscious.]

After watching, the comments section was filled with confusion: "Where are my survival rules?? Why are there only conditions for clearing the game?"

"It says there are no rules for this instance? Really? I don't believe it."

"But there are no rules if they're not on the rule sheet, which is quite unusual."

"By the way, this time the rule sheet actually lists the conditions for passing the level, instead of the rules for passing the level."

"It's meticulous; the word 'rules' has indeed been omitted from the list."

Not only were the viewers in the live chat confused, but Yin Xiu also fell into deep thought, staring at the words for a long time. Just as he was lost in thought, footsteps came from outside the door.

Someone stopped at Yin Xiu's door, then opened the small window in the door and looked inside.

There was a stranger's face at the door. The person had just done something, and the part of their face visible through the small window was covered in blood, which looked quite horrifying.

He spotted Yin Xiu and immediately said in a harsh voice, "Prisoner number 401! Get out here right now and assemble in the lobby downstairs!"

Yin Xiu looked up and nodded indifferently, "Open the door."

His overly indifferent and cooperative reaction made the person at the door pause for a moment.

The cell door creaked open, revealing the person standing outside. He appeared to be a prison guard, dressed in a neat yet retro black uniform, a blend of modern and classic styles, creating a sense of fusion between prison guard and prison clerk. This was already strange enough, but the blood covering him made him even more horrifying.

Most of the players who enter here are villains. They don't take the prison guards seriously and either question them or attack them directly. But Yin Xiu was very quiet. After coming out, he stood at the door and looked him over. His scrutinizing gaze made the prison guard feel uneasy for no reason.

His gaze lingered on Yin Xiu's prison uniform, and he pondered for a long time, "A prisoner in red..."

Yin Xiu raised an eyebrow and looked down at his clothes. Weren't they black and white?

The prison guard hesitated for a moment, then decided to take out his notebook, ask for the name, and then decide on his attitude, tone, and expression.

"Prisoner number 401, state your name."
