Nova had a little bit of fun, but still frustrated.

*Fifteen minutes later.*
Nova slowly opened her eyes, having actually been awake this whole time, and waited for Lloyd to leave. "No surprise, knowing his situation. He probably would have a hard time trusting anyone. Even someone being nice to him... there better not be a Harumi in this world."
Getting up from where she was sitting, Nova used the shadows and quickly got to her class. Knowing she was late for math, but thanks to the shadows. She was able to sneak in and get to her seat without anyone noticing.
Nova picked up her math book, and a pencil. But whenever the teacher wasn't looking, she would pull out two wallets she had been able to steal and gave them a closer look.
"Hmmm, Chad brought a lot of money with him. Probably wouldn't notice a few bucks missing." Nova took some of his money, and then looked at the other wallet. "Huh, somehow I shouldn't be surprised, Morro is smoking from the smell of his wallet. Explains why he doesn't have much money."
Nova let the wallets go back in the shadows, and focused on writing in her math book. Easily solving everything, since being with Ronin and the ninjas. But mostly Zane and Pixal, it helped her whenever building something or when she wanted to steal something.
Since Nova finished quickly, she took a glance at who else was in the classroom.
Most of the students she didn't really know, but she was able to see Zane and Jay were in this class too.
"No surprise there, this shouldn't be that hard of a class for them.... maybe Jay." Nova thought with a slight smile.
"It's strange being in a normal school, and seeing these guys in them." Nova took out her notebook, and began doodling some more in it again, since she didn't have much else to do. "I wonder how long until the main plot of the movie kicks in, so far, it doesn't seem like it will be starting today.... Hmmm, maybe I could help Lloyd a little when that scene between Garmadon and him takes place."
Nova let out a sigh, thinking over the movie plot again. "Why did they have to screw around with everything, and why... just why the cat at the end?" She groans in frustration, while drawing. But did notice Zane and Jay glancing over at her a few times, probably observing her and being skeptical.
*Half an hour later, the bell went off. Finishing math class.*
Nova packed up her stuff, and walked out of the classroom. "Next class should be at the gym." A smug grin grew on her face. "Oh, this is gonna be fun."
Nova went to her locker and put in her bag, closing the locker as she then headed towards the gym.
When getting to the gym, the male and female students went to the changing rooms. Though, Nova decided to wait for the other girls to finish, not comfortable with anyone seeing her scars. Let alone her right arm, that didn't look that natural where it was attached to her upper arm.
After getting changed, Nova also added some bandages to her arms. Wanting to be sure nothing would stand out, as she left the changing room and joined the rest.
Nova noticed that Kai was in this class, which was a comfortable thing to see. Only to then notice two people, she didn't want to see, Morro and fucking Harumi.
"By the motherfucking Overlord, why both of them?. Morro is already a pain, I wouldn't be surprised if this Harumi is a bitch too." Nova sighs in frustration at this, and decided to stay out of their sight. "This is really annoying, but at this point. I should just accept this bullshit."
It wasn't long until the gym teacher walked into the room, and had all the students gather. Nova tried staying out of Morro's eyesight, since she had pretty much beaten him up twice on the same day and stolen his wallet.
"Alright students, for today's class. You'll all start running five laps around the gym, next you will be climbing ropes, after that, you will be playing some dodgeball. Then, when you're done with that, you'll have some spare time to do what you want until the end of the class." The gym teacher explained.
"Wow, this sounds like an easy training routine. I wouldn't even break a sweat." Nova thought, while everyone didn't seem that excited about it, besides maybe for the dodgeball. From some of the students glancing at each other, or more so at Kai.
"You're going down, red. I can't wait to hit you in the face when I throw the ball at you." said Morro smirking at Kai.
"So you say, but don't think I'm gonna go down easy, Morro." said Kai glaring at him.
"Those two are always at it, if Kai would just stop hanging out with Lloyd. It would be so much better." said Harumi coming over to Nova, giving a sweet smile. "Hi, I'm Harumi, and you must be the new transfer student."
"Ugh, why me. Why do I always end up with the bad people." Nova resisted an annoyed sigh, and just returned with a smile. "Nice to meet you, I'm Nova."
"Listen here, Nova, I'll suggest you stay away from Lloyd and his loser friends. They are no good, and the last thing I would want. Is for a new student to end up getting mixed in with them." Harumi told her with a concerned look.
"Fuck this bitch." Nova thought, rolling her eyes, and decided to start running like the rest of the students had started doing.
"I could try and get close to the other ninjas, but they, so far, seem to be able to handle themselves. But Lloyd isn't even fighting back and just takes the bullying. While a brave way to show he isn't like his father, it's still very stupid of him." Nova was in deep thoughts when running, and hardly noticed when she was on the last lap.
After the laps, it was time to climb the ropes hanging from the very ceiling. There were three ropes, and everyone would each make a line and wait for their turn.
Nova took a glance up at the ropes, watching some of the students climbing them. "Reminds me a little of Prime Empire." As she was watching, the person standing behind her. Leaned forward and whispered against her ear, close each that she could feel the person's breath.
"We meet again, little breeze. I think we have some unfinished business." whispered the person behind Nova, causing her to quickly turn her head to see that it was Morro of all people.
"I don't think so, and would you just leave me alone." said Nova, and tried going to another line, but Morro grabbed her arm. Not letting her go anywhere.
"I don't think I will, not after what you did to me." Morro tried tightening her arm, but it didn't seem to hurt her one bit. Reason being that he had grabbed the fake arm.
Nova let out a frustrated sigh, rubbing the bridge of her nose. "This is getting annoying, very quickly." She forced her arm free of his grip and went to the rope since it was her turn.
Nova grabbed the rope and began climbing up without any problem, and had soon reached the top. She looked down at the others, glaring down at Morro, and had one of her hands let go of the rope and then gave him the middle finger.
Morro narrowed his eyes and went to grab the rope she was on and began pulling it. Trying to scare her, and by chance fall off.
"Are you crazy! If you do that, she is gonna fall and hurt herself!" Kai exclaimed, walking over and grabbed Morro's wrist. "Her face is already injured, she doesn't need more injuries."
Nova didn't have any problems holding on to the rope, and just watched what was happening under her. "Didn't think Kai would step it and help, huh. Interesting."
"I'm just having some fun, look for yourself. She isn't even falling." said Morro with a smug grin and pointing up at Nova.
"Doesn't matter, you need to stop that." said Kai getting in Morro's face.
"Oh yeah? Make me, loser." said Morro, and began pulling the rope with more force.
"This is getting annoying." Nova let out a sigh, thinking about what action she should take. "I mean, I have my double jump, and float gaming abilities. I can also use the shadows to get down, or just my ninja moves."
"Or I could just keep to my act, and make it seem like I lost my grip and fall off..... but that would be tricking them, and like the Overlord. I would be manipulating them." Nova grew slightly unsure about this, but knew she had to make a decision quickly.
With a heavy sigh, Nova let go of the rope, and began falling down towards them with a scream.
Kai acted quickly and caught Nova just in time before she hit the floor. "I got you." He gently put her down before turning to Morro. "Morro, I told you—"
"You crazy son of a bitch! Are you trying to kill me here?!" Nova shouted at Morro in anger, already losing her temper but tried holding it in so at least her eyes wouldn't start glowing.
"I was just having a little fun, princess, no one even got hurt." said Morro with a smirk on his face.
Nova let out a growl before getting a headache, holding her head as her eyes were slightly flashing pink. "Motherfucking, I wanna rip that smirk off his face!"
"Hey, you alright?" Kai took notice of her holding her head and went on to place a hand on her shoulder. "Maybe you should sit down, taking such a fall might have affected you a bit."
Nova took a deep breath, trying to calm herself down. "Sure, I'll go and tell the teacher." She sent a cold glare towards Morro. "I'm taking you down in dodgeball, just you wait."
"Oooh, I'm so scared. Little girly trying to take me on, now this is gonna be fun." said Morro still wearing a smirk.
Nova rolled her eyes and walked over to the teacher, telling him what happened. But didn't mention Morro was the reason she fell, since there was a chance he would get sent to the principal's office. Which she didn't want to happen, reason being that she wanted to beat him up in dodgeball.
After speaking with the teacher, Nova went to sit down by a wall and watched everyone else climbing the rope. "Looks like I wouldn't get Morro off my tail, unless I beat the shit out of him.... or I could just mess with him, and really get on his nerves." A slight smirk grew on her face.
"Alright everyone! Gather around, we will now be playing some dodgeball, Harumi and Kai will be the ones picking out their team." said the teacher.
Nova got up from where she sat, and walked over to the rest.
Kai and Harumi began picking each person they wanted for their team, until there were only a few left, two of them being Nova and, of course, Morro.
"Hmmm, I'm gonna pick.... Morro." said Harumi with a smile.
"Took you long enough, I was starting to think you weren't gonna pick me." said Morro walking over with a smirk.
Harumi rolled her eyes at him. "Of course I was gonna pick you, I just wanted to make it more interesting."
"If those two aren't dating, I might as well scream for the Overlord to take me back." Nova thought, glancing at the two before looking over at Kai. Wondering who he was gonna pick next.
Kai looked at the three people who were left to pick from, thinking carefully on whom to pick.
"Hurry it up, Kai. We don't have all day." said Harumi crossing her arms.
Kai just rolled his eyes at her comment and looked over at Nova. "I'll pick you, umm... Sorry, didn't catch your name."
"Thank the First Spinjitzu Master." Nova thought with a slight smile. "The name's Nova, but my friends call me Ocea." She walked over and joined his team, already excited for the game to start.
"Right, okay. Ocea." said Kai as he and Harumi picked from the last two that were standing.
Both teams went to opposite sides of the gym, and the teacher gave the ball over to Harumi.
"Of course, they would be getting the ball." Nova sighed at this, not surprised about this.
Everyone got ready and soon enough the chaos started with the ball getting thrown around at people, some of the students were screaming while running for their lives. While others were laughing and took down the easy targets, Nova being one of the targets since they thought with her only able to see with one eye. She had a blind spot on her right side.
But surprisingly, Nova was able to dodge the ball each time, and whenever she got the ball, she would take out someone from Harumi's team.
"I didn't think you would be this good at this game, even though you clearly have a blind side." said Kai who was still in the game and had the ball at the moment.
Nova giggled at this and just smiled. "Don't judge a book by its cover. I'm full of surprises."
"Clearly, looks like Lloyd was right about you being interesting." said Kai, throwing the ball and took out one of the other team's teammates.
"What?" Nova looked over at him with a raised eyebrow. "So I was right about him, probably talking about me with his friends. While he thought I was asleep in the janitor's closet."
"Alright, how about we finish this game. Once and for all." said Morro, who now had the ball in his hands.
"Sure, but can you hit anything?" Nova taunted with a smug grin. "I can only see with one eye, and yet I've been able to dodge all of your throws."
Morro narrowed his eyes at her, and tightened his grip on the ball. "Oh yeah, then how about this!" He charged at her with the ball, which was against the rules. But he didn't seem to care if it meant he could take her out.
Nova quickly began dodging his attempts at taking her out, and then took a chance of using her foot to trip him over. Causing him to lose the ball that she then picked up, and hit him with it and then threw it at another opponent. "Too easy."
"Not fair! You cheated by tripping me!" shouted Morro, trying to grab her, but once again, she easily dodged him.
"I didn't cheat, I didn't even do anything to you, besides hitting you with the ball." said Nova with a deadpanned look. "You were the one who cheated, charging at someone with the ball is against the rules."
"So that's how you wanna play it, fine." Morro glared at her before walking away.
Nova had a feeling he wasn't done with her, but since the teacher was here. He probably didn't dare to try anything for now. "Better just get it over with, whatever he is gonna do. Is nothing compared to what I've been through.... and what is gonna happen when I return to the Overlord." She grabbed the necklace under her shirt. "I'm sorry for everything, Lloyd."
"Nova, watch out!" shouted Kai as the ball was being thrown at her.
Snapping out of her thoughts, Nova saw the ball coming towards her. But she quickly caught it, taking out the person who had thrown it at her.
"Nice catch, Nova! Had me worried there for a second." said Kai with a sigh.
Nova took a look at who was left on both teams, before turning to Kai. "I have an idea, but this is gonna need some teamwork."
"Teamwork, hah! That's what it means to be on a team." said Kai with a confident smile. "So what you got in mind, Ocea?"
Nova walked over and whispered her idea to Kai, causing him to have a puzzled look on his face. "Wouldn't that be against the rules? Besides, would that even work?"
"You just stick to your part of the plan, while I do my part. Trust me, they wouldn't see it coming." Nova threw the ball right up and into the air.
The moment the ball was thrown up, distracting everyone. Nova ran to the ropes they used earlier, but this time took out one of them on either side of the room. After doing that, she began using them to swing around like she would if she had her grappling hooks.
Kai had gotten the ball and threw it at the opponents, taking one of them out. Then, when one of them went to grab the ball, Nova came swinging and grabbed the ball and threw it into the air again, letting Kai jump up and catch it, and then threw it at the opponent once more. Rinse and repeat, the two kept going. Never giving the others a chance to get the ball.
Soon enough, the game was over and a mix of complaints and applauds were coming from the other students.
"That was amazing! I would never have thought of doing that." said a student.
"No way! That was clearly cheating." said another student.
"While I did swing around with the ball, I never threw it at anyone doing it. So I didn't really cheat, I was just being creative." said Nova with a shrug.
The students kept going back and forth, while the teacher just walked out. Not wanting to deal with this, and that also meant everyone now had spare time to do whatever until class was over.
"I still can't believe we won, and the way you just moved around. It's like you've done it your whole life." said Kai amazed at how it all worked out.
Nova nervously rubbed the back of her neck. "It was just an idea."
"A crazy idea!" Kai laughed and slapped her back, almost knocking her over.
A small smile grew on Nova's face. "It did feel nice doing something like that again, whatever, a ninja or a thief. I never like sitting around and doing nothing."
