Chapter 2 - The Abyssus Woods Trip

If she could become a high-level Omega before she turned eighteen, then she could completely and utterly throw away that trash Seo Yul.

"Buyeon? Buyeon…?"

Jin Buyeon suddenly snapped back to reality. Even though she had returned to the age of fifteen, she wasn't sure about the exact time of the year. The person calling her from outside was her elder brother.

"I'm here. What's wrong?"

Jin Buwon knocked on her bedroom door. After getting her permission, he pushed it open and said, "Buyeon, why are you still sleeping? That boy from the Seo family has already arrived. He said you two made a plan earlier, that today you would go to the Abyssus Woods together to collect some herbs."

So it was this moment… Jin Buyeon remembered now. This trip to the Abyssus Woods to collect herbs—wasn't this the time when Seo Yul saved her in her previous life?

Since Heaven itself had allowed her to return to this moment, then of course she wouldn't be polite about it. This time, she would absolutely never give Seo Yul the chance to save her again!

"Alright, I understand. I'll come down now."

She had to prepare herself mentally. After all, not long ago—at least in her memories—Seo Yul had joined hands with his little lover to scheme against her until nothing was left but her bones.

Not long ago she had hated Seo Yul to the point of wanting to tear him apart. But now she had to act as though nothing had ever happened, to go out together with him. This was truly the ultimate test of her patience and her acting skills.

She first changed her clothes. Even though she had no intention of letting him rescue her this time, she still needed to collect the herbs.

The reason is because in this trip, she had the incredible fortune of finding a small stalk of Psychic Grass inside the Abyssus Woods!

For people like her, who were Omega, Psychic Grass was a priceless treasure.

As long as an Omega kept a stalk of Psychic Grass by their side, their spiritual energy would gradually grow purer and cleaner.

Over time, this purity would make breakthroughs much easier compared to others of similar strength. And the effect of guiding and supporting Alpha with their mental power would also be far greater.

It had to be known that Alpha could only improve their strength by consuming the meat of mutated beasts over the long term. But the meat of mutated beasts contained impurities that could not be removed, no matter what methods were used.

It was something like a form of mental pollution.

After an Alpha consumed it, removing the impurities from their body required a long period of time. But realistically, almost no Alpha could go such a long time without eating meat.

That was why the existence of Omega was seen as equal to the presence of saviors for Alpha.

In truth, if Alpha did not want to suffer from mental pollution, all they had to do was refuse to eat the meat of mutated beasts.
