Uther fell silent for a moment, making a decision in his heart. The scourge was ravaging Lordaeron, and that foolish boy Arthas had pursued the Dreadlord to Northrend. Lordaeron was now in a precarious state.
A weapon capable of inflicting fatal damage on the scourge was indeed crucial.
Not long ago, when the Undead Plague was still rampant in the Eastern Weald, Silver Hand Paladin Mograine, along with Isillien, Abidis, Daan, and Fairbanks, had gathered.
In a tavern in Southshore, they discussed how to counter the undead invasion. Mograine produced a shadow crystal captured during the Second War and proposed the theory that light cannot exist independently of darkness.
He believed that extreme shadow was extreme Holy Light! Everyone should work together to purify this shadow crystal, fill it with Holy Light, and use it against the scourge.
He had also received an invitation at the time and had originally planned to go to Southshore to help deal with this shadow crystal.
But Arthas was besieged in Hearthglen, and Uther had no choice but to go to his rescue first, thus missing the gathering.
Mograine suggested purifying the shadow crystal, but some also proposed that it was too dangerous and should be destroyed.
After some discussion, the group decided to collectively infuse the shadow crystal with Holy Light energy.
If it could truly transform into a holy light crystal, that would naturally be good. If it couldn't, the combined Holy Light of the group would completely destroy the shadow crystal.
Later, a miracle occurred: the shadow crystal actually transformed into a pure holy light crystal, radiating infinite Holy Light.
Even Mograine, who had suffered almost irreversible damage during the Second War that even Holy Light could not heal, was cured the moment he touched this holy light crystal!
This further strengthened Mograine's resolve. So, he and Fairbanks took the holy light crystal and planned to travel to the dwarven kingdom of Ironforge to request that King Magni Bronzebeard personally forge a weapon.
Their journey was estimated to take several months. If this holy light crystal could be successfully forged into a divine weapon, that would naturally be for the best.
Humanity indeed needed a divine weapon to combat the increasingly powerful scourge.
Therefore, retrieving the legendary silver hand warhammer would be of great significance.
This weapon was the weapon of the Titan Keeper Tyr, and most human paladins worship Tyr. Even the name of the Knights of the Silver Hand is derived from Tyr's weapon.
Once this weapon is obtained by the Silver Hand, its significance would be far greater than any new weapon forged by Mograine; this is a truly ancient legendary weapon.
"I am willing to go with you. This is the command of the Titan Keeper and the guidance of the Holy Light. As the former commander of the Silver Hand, I, Uther, cannot shirk this duty."
"With your help, we will surely accomplish this mission, Lord Uther," Rhodes said with a smile.
"But Rhodes, do you know the exact location of the Tomb of Tyr?" Uther asked.
If he only knew it was near Tirisfal Glades, it would be hard to find, as that area was too vast!
A blind search could take months or even years without success.
"The Holy Light guided me, and the Titan Keeper also told me the precise location. In the center of Tirisfal Glades, there is a very ancient lake. The Tomb of Tyr is buried at the bottom of that lake.
There is a group of Guardians at the Tomb of Tyr. Initially, the Vrykul guarded the Tomb of Tyr, but the Vrykul knew they could not live forever, so they later selected some humans to serve as Tyr's Guards.
These people lived nearby, secretly protecting this sacred land, until more than 2000 years ago, when Emperor Thoradin led his retinue and forced their way in.
But Emperor Thoradin never emerged afterward, so these guards swore never to let anyone enter again.
During the Second War, human paladins emerged, and these Guardians of the Tomb of Tyr discovered that Holy Light was exceptionally compatible with them, so they also began to learn Holy Light Spells.
I think if we state our identities and intentions, these Tyr's Guards will surely allow us to enter the Tomb of Tyr," Rhodes said.
If other professionals came here, Tyr's Guards might not let them in, but now with the scourge rampant, humanity truly needs the Guardian's weapon, and the person who has come is Uther, one of the first paladins!
These Tyr's Guards would absolutely not obstruct them, because after mastering Holy Light, these Guardians of Tyr were naturally close to paladins!
"Such a thing exists? If it is truly as you say, Rhodes, then I will persuade those Guardians of Tyr to give me that ancient divine artifact to use," Uther nodded and said.
"I believe in you, Lord Uther. You will surely be recognized by them," Rhodes said.
"This will be an epic adventure; I can barely wait," Jaina said, her face also filled with excitement.
The three chatted for a while longer, then Jaina and Uther returned to their tents to rest. The stories they heard tonight would likely keep them awake all night.
Early the next morning, after everyone woke up, Uther announced to everyone that they would temporarily change course and head to Tirisfal Glades, to follow the guidance of the Holy Light and the footsteps of the Titan Keeper.
Although some ordinary soldiers didn't know what was happening, several paladins of the Silver Hand strongly supported Uther's decision, as this was, after all, a quest to find the symbol of their order!
If they could reclaim the silver hand warhammer, it would be of great significance to the Knights of the Silver Hand.
Over the next 3 days, the group spurred their horses, rushing towards Tirisfal Glades near the Capital City of Lordaeron.
Along the way, Uther continued to teach Rhodes Holy Light Spells. This time, Rhodes did not hide his powerful learning ability for Holy Light Spells.
Paladin spells: Judgment, Shield of Vengeance, Hammer of Justice, Blessing of Protection, Blessing of Freedom, Blessing of Sacrifice, Cleanse, Sense Undead, Hammer of Wrath, Redemption, Shield of Righteousness, Rebuke, Holy Light Hammer, Avenging Wrath, Guardian of Light, Divine Plea.
Rhodes used 3 days to completely exhaust Uther's knowledge.
All Holy Light Spells, on average, consumed 0.1 to 0.2 mana, with Redemption having the maximum consumption of three mana points.
And one spell among them was crucial for Rhodes: Divine Plea. This spell allowed paladins to calm their minds and meditate on the Holy Light.
But after Rhodes used it, he could directly meditate to restore mana, and with Blessing of Wisdom, the effect was even better!
Besides learning spells, Uther also took the opportunity to train Rhodes' martial arts.
